We are going to be in Orlando 11/22-11/26 with out 14 yr old, 3 yr old and 18 month old.

Is Thanksgiving time really as crowded as I am reading? Which time between Thanksgiving and that sunday would be better days to go to the parks?

What will crowds be like the monday following Thanksgiving?

How about other attractions and parks are they as crazy.

Will DisneyQuest get as busy during thanksgiving time as the parks?

And lastly, can you refuse fingerprinting. Honestly, I don't like the idea of MY fingerprint being ON FILE with anyone especially an amusement park. Can't you just SHOW ID I think fingerprinting is a bit extreme!

Thank you to all who repsond and Happy Wishes to all who read!

Sorry if I asked too many questions :confused3

Thanksgiving will be busy. We usually stick to Animal Kingdom, MGM, and Epcot every day. We avoid Magic Kingdom. The Monday after Thanksgiving is the start of a slow time for the parks.

There is no "fingerprints". The biometers are there so there is a way to id the ticket. So your 14 year old and you can't share a ticket. All you do is stick your finger in the meter for about two seconds. I've been doing this for years and I can't even get a special discount postcard. Harmless worry.

So if I have a 2 day tix for my 14 year old and he uses the first day I couldn't use the 2nd day if he wasn't going to a park. We thought we would let him do DisneyQuest and I would use his unused day at at later time. Sounds like that's out.

Disneyquest could be a bit more crowded but if the weather is nice it will likely be less crowded during the day than many of the parks. If you use the parks in the morning and evening you will avoid a lot of the crowds or at least as much of them. You cannot share a ticket with anyone that is why Disney does the scan.

Remember too that DQ is not a regular park - it falls under Water Parks & More options

We too will be at WDW during Thanksgiving. How busy will disney Quest be? Is it more crowded at night? Should we try to do Disney Quest in the morning?

Disneyquest doesn't open until 10 or 11 most days, so that is there opening time. The get more crowded as the day goes on as far as I can tell but the crowds are much worse on any day with rain because it is completely inside.
