Can anyone help, I may ask some silly questions but I'd like to be sure before going on the 2nd March:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

1. When the park is open until 6pm is there no evening meals in the restaurant inside the park and then do you have to be out at 6pm (just so that I may as well eat at Disney Village)?
:confused3
2. Apart from the character meals in Cafe Mickeys, Inventions, Lucky Nugget, Plaza Gardens, what other restaurants would you suggest are good for my mum, myself and children aged 9, 6 and 3, looking mainly at Rainforest Cafe and Planet Hollywood (looks like Annettes may be closed for refurbishment)?
:confused3
3, Do the Princesses just walk around by the castle during the meet and greet times so you can have photographs with them or are they on a stage like a show? (Daughter would love photograph with Cinderella).
:confused3
4. Does anyone know when the times of the shows go onto the Disneyland Paris site for March?
:confused3

Any more info or tips you would like to throw in would be much appreciated. Getting a bit too excited now, any shops that kids love more than others, or any good places to stand or sit at parades or shows, staying at Explorers, any info on the hotel etc. ;)
Anymore I shall send in another thread, but that should be enough for now.;)

Hi, can't help with all of them - but.......

Annette's was open again from Tuesday this week, so you can consider that for a meal.

The Rainforest Cafe would be great for the ages of your children. The moving animals and regular 'rainstorms' fascinate the children. However you could find yourself queuing a while. We left to eat there just before the parade finished and got a seat without waiting, but the queue was back about 50 people long when we left, and later that evening after the Park closed it was at least double that.

This week the Park was open until 7 and the restaurants were taking dinner reservations up until 6.15. I would think they would still be open when the Park closes at 6, but you would have to be seated by 5.15.

We have only seen one Princess on a meet and greet (Aurora) and she was walking around the Castle and stopped for a photo and to sign an autgraph book.

I guess you'll be getting excited with the holiday so close :goodvibes

Good idea about dining in village. Otherwise you'll probably have to dine early.

Billy Bob's may be another possible selection for eating :)

Hopefully the parade schedules are up soon :goodvibes

Someone recently posted they were able to book an evening meal at Walt's and Blue Lagoon for 6pm on days when park closed at that time.

There is a stage near the Castle where the Princesses stand, (no show) usually two at a time and each has their own photographer. The queueing is orderly :thumbsup2 and it's worth doing to get their autographs and take your own photos, so even if you decide not to buy the official photographs you'll have your own snaps!

staying at Explorers, any info on the hotel etc. ;)

We always stay here and find it always clean and comfortable. We prefer to go for breakfast earlier as it is less crowded. I can't help with other meals here as we prefer to eat in the parks or Village. I will try and add some more photos to the Explorers Hotel FAQ this week. :)

:yay: :yay: :yay:

Thank you for your kind replies. I have been given some great information. I am so glad I found this forum to find out all I need to know as it will save me time when I get there :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 as I know more of what I will be doing. :cool1:

I am so pleased that the princesses will be walking round by the castle I will definately be there (hopefully my daughter will see Cinderella). Got some great tips on where to view the parade from.

Thanks also for the redirection to dlrp magic as this has given me the show times for March as the Disneyland Paris site's March dates are now shown yet. :flower3:

Brill!!!!:grouphug: :grouphug:  :grouphug: :grouphug:

Any more info or tips or any photos of Explorers would be fantastic!!

When you stay at the Explorers is the shuttle bus just as frequent as the ones from the Disney Hotels and do you know what time the service is, or is it just the same shuttle bus as the Disney ones?

I dont know if anyone else has mentioned it but when you arrive at the parks your Park Guide will show the meet'n'greet points. (If I remember there are 6 inside Disney and 3 in WDS) :goodvibes. I think the symbol is Mickeys pointed finger inside a red box.

To plan them properly the parks official Programme Guide (available from the Town Hall) shows the times they actually appear and indeed which characters you will see.

My DD specifically wanted to meet Belle AND the Beast so we planned a few hours around that and we had pics taken with both :thumbsup2

Enjoy
