Hi everyone!

First time poster, but i hope you guys can help!

Me and my boyfriend are planning our first disney holiday together for this septemeber to Paris. We are gonna have to wait till we can book eurostar before we book hotels etc but i have a few questions.

1) We are maybe thinking of the hotel Kyriad, what are peoples experiences?

2) Can anyone recomend a nice (but not too expensive) resturant we could go to one night?

3) Where is the cheapest place to buy park tickets?

4)Any other recomendations?

Thanks for the help!

We went just in December we stayed in The Explorers Hotel it was really nice and only 100Euro a night My GF mam stayed in Kyraid before and said it was nice also. We went toi the Rainforest Cafe in the Disney Village and its was delicious we paid 125Euro for the meal it included (3 beers, 3 oranges, a huge starter between us, I had steak she had chicken burger and we got extra onion rings and we got the Volcano desert between us it was huge and delicious :-), so for what you get its not really expensive bearing in mind the beer was 22.50 alone.)Also it did not require a reservation. We found the cheapest place was themeparkticketsdirect.com to get the tickets. Hope some of this helps :-)

1. Not stayed there but it looks nice and is cheap. There's a free shuttle bus to the parks which is handy. If you check on Expedia you can normally get very good room only rates for Disney's Cheyenne. Often it's the same price as the Kyriad but in my opinion it's a much better hotel.

2. There are lots of restaurant but my favourite is Annettes. The theming isn't as good as the Rainforest or Cafe Mickey but the food is much better. They normally have a special offer on for €18 you get a burger, a large drink and a dessert. Much better value than most of the other restaurants. Other recommendations include Walts (inside the park) and Blue Lagoon (it's inside Pirates of the Carribean!!!)

3. If you're spending more than 2 days in the park, buy an annual pass. It will only cost you a little bit more but is well worth it. With the Fantasy pass, you get 10% off in all of the shops and most of the reastaurants. Plus you can come back to Disney later in the year! Look out for the sponsorship thread and you can get 10% off the pass.

You buy the AP inside the park (near Buzz Lightyear). They refund you the cost of your days admission.

I've stayed in the Kyriad, its a nice & clean hotel. So clean they cleaned our room twice in one day:lmao: The staff are very friendly & helpful.

The breakfast is a buffet like all the other hotel with plenty of selections. Also the rooms have a kettle with tea, coffee & biscuits whoch is a nice touch.

The only downside is that it doesn't include park passes, but the hotel can be booked cheap directly with kyriad, octopustravel.com or hotels.com. So it may work out cheaper that way.

I paid about £40 for 1 night 2 people including breakfast but I could have got it cheaper had I booked it earlier.

Hi there.

I've also been at the Kyriad hotel and while the bath was a problem
due to a higher edge, along wirh nothing to grab onto, I did find that
the service and variety of food was good. So if you're looking for
a budget hotel, ths is a good one to attend.

As mentioned before, there are buses to and from Disneyland.

I didn't have to worry about tickets to the park, as iot was included in
a package with the Swedish bus company I was with.

If possible, I'd suggest looking into packages with bus, hotel and
the pass to Disneyland. You might find it a good deal. as I did.
