Few questions before we go - Santa Fe and Crush?

Hi

We head to the Santa Fe next Monday to Friday - just wondering if there are safes in the room to keep extra cash & passports in?

Also, are the queues still as bad for Crush - we were there in August and queued for over 1 hr 30 mins. Needless to say we only did it once!

And finally, we are getting a shuttle (RS or BS transport), and standard collection for return on the form was at the hotel. But we are getting collected at 1.30pm, so we have to leave the park and go back to the hotel for this time. Is there anywhere we could ask them to pick us up closer to the park (Just leave luggage in guest services or train station) so that we get more disney time? Would they pick us up at the taxi rank outside the train station - would this be a good enough description to email them, or can you think of anywhere else?

Thanks!

Thanks

We just came back from our first trip and the line for Crush midweek wasn't too bad during the 1:30 parade. Somehow we always managed to be there at that time. When the weekend rolled around it was another story! Many were standing in a very long line that was actually outside the queue area..and the ride broke down. The CM actually told us that the seat harness wouldn't come up so some poor person was stuck . I just felt bad for all the people who had waited ages in line only to have to leave when it broke.

Sorry I can't help you with your other questions but I believe I've read that there isn't a safe in the room at the Santa Fe, however you can leave your valuables in the safe at reception.

There are no in room safes in the Santa Fe. I believe there are safety deposit box's at reception. We just hid our passports and stuff in the room.

do crush first thing on your first proper morning there.

we wiated 15 mins 2 sundays ago on opening and the next day (Monday) waited 25 minutes at about 3:00 in the afternoon!

have fun! :cool1: :cool1:

we always went into disney studios at 9.30 and got sraight in the line and it took about half an hour.
once it did break down but they gave us all fastpass-type things so we could come back.
the longest i saw the line (and this is during the halloween business) wa 50 minutes.
before the park closed it was more like 20.

During Halloween week, the line was much longer than that - they were queuing way past the official queuing area - I noted it was 95 minutes one time probably longer by the looks of it tho - this was during the week not at the weekend but it was Halloween week - we waited over an hour once and then the ride broke down (but fastpasses to use next day kept us happy)

maybe we were just lucky? we were there from the 30th to the 8th.
it was a bit crazy after the 'opening' at 10 am for a while.
once i noticed it was quieter before park closing i just went then.
even when it closed at 6pm it was the same as far as i could see.
