Few BLT Questions

Hi All,

We will be heading home for our second DVC stay in May (the first at our home resort, BLT). We have a few questions about BLT.

We have a two bed room dedicated with park view. What is the best way to request a high floor that has the best view of MK and Wishes?

Also, I think I have read about people walking to MK. How long is the walk?

Do we go to CR to get the bus to DTD, HS, AK... or is there a bus stop at BLT?

How are the buses? Are there other stops to/from your destination? We will have a car and can drive if we need to.

Any other tips/suggestions are welcome.

ask for high as possible north side.

the walk from the front door of BLT to MK is around 5 to 15 minutes depending upon how fast you walk.

a little less than the time it takes the monrail to get to Polyn.

there is a bus stop at the CR - about 2 minutes out the front door (it is quicker to go out the front door for the bus stop)
you will share with either Polyn and GF - or WL.

would take the monrail to Epcot - and bus to AK and Studios - DD is harder - but might even bus there because parking there is a big problem. you could be taking a long time to park unless you park in the 5th lot and walk alot.

Call and tell them you want an upper floor.

I would plan a 15-minute walk to MK... just to be safe.

Use the monorail to EPCOT. Just remember the new monorail hours after the parks close. You might need to use a bus to get back.

You will use the CR bus stop for all other pick-ups. BLT/CR is the first stop, so you're on/off first... not sure if it's always the case, but we've always had pickups at other resorts before continuing onto our final destination... AK can be quite the haul.
I'm sure it's just our experience, but in our two trips to BLT, bus service to the park has been spotty at best (but it's only really for 2 parks + DTD). Service back to our resort at the end of the night has always been good.
