Just checking as this is our favorite thing to do at the AK and have our trip coming up next month. Any first hand reports how the revised arena looks? I always liked that it was kind of open but understand why they needed to enclose it.

Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Is it any bigger than the original?

Nope not any bigger. The only change is that they put walls around the exisiting theater. It's much more comfortable temperature wise and the show is a bit darker at times as well as there is no outside light coming in.

As always a fabulous show!

The last time we saw this show was in October of 2001.....so its been a while. We got in some 25 minutes before the show began and had trouble finding seats. How early do you get there to find a good place to see the show from? We leave in 9 days and this is one of the shows the kids keep talikng about!

Thanks,

Amee

They just enclosed the open areas and it is air conditioned now. I think it make the show that much better. You see thier lighting much better and it is cooler in there.

Amee, if you get to the park first thing, go to the very first show. It is usually not the busiest and most popular one as people haven't made their way over to that part of the park yet. Also, if it is mid day, get there at least an hour to 45 minutes in advance. It is well worth it to get a seat.
