We are scheduled to attend Festival of the Arts next week and the weather forcast is showing rain. This is our first time attending this festival and were looking forward to the chalk art and artist booths. For anyone who has attended this festival in the rain in the past, do they move the artwork indoors, or do they close those booths completely? I figure the chalk art is just not happening. We are Florida APs so we could go another week but we already have timeshare and pet sitter reservations that we cannot cancel. Trying to decide if its worth it. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I have been during light all-day rain. Things like chalk art and the big mural weren’t available. For the most part, the other art was in tents, so it was more crowded to view, but it was available. Food booths and most other entertainment went on as normal, with small delays here and there to account for rain. It’s not the ideal way to do it, but it’s still okay.

Not sure about all the chalk artists, but on a video I watched from opening day one of them said they have a covered area for her to go on rainy days, so it looks like there will be at least some of the chalk art still happening!

We'll be there as well this week and this forecast is looking like one of the worst we've experienced, and we've been there during hurricanes and tropical storms! :rotfl2: I'm really hoping it's not all day rain, but if it is we'll still have fun, but we'll probably take more midday breaks to dry off and warm up!
