Has anyone heard when this is going to re-open? I've read June or July. We are going June 21-28 and hope to watch it.

It's been reported FOLK will officially reopen on June 7th with a soft opening by June 2nd. Harambe Nights also begins on June 7th... the theater is ready.

I am a little worried about the exact date because they didn't make any fastpasses available for it yet and June is only a week away.

OK, I checked some sites:

Touring Plans - Finish date 6/30/14
DIS - Just says closed for 6 months, no date
WDWMagic - July 1st, but there is a note that it's not confirmed

On 5/2 the parks blog mentioned it re-opening in June. Then on 5/8 it said in a few weeks. But they didn't give an actual date either time. Based on that, I say you've got a decent chance though.

I just checked this morning and there were no FP+ available. I'm really hoping it will be open for our trip, but I know it's a long shot.

When I phoned disney to make changes a week ago, the CM told me it was June 2....she did look before she spoke, but we know CM's are not always correct.

There was FP+ available while it was in Camp Minnie Mickey, so I'm sure they'll have it Harambe. It doesn't sound like they've appeared on MDE yet, though.

Because June 2nd is being reported as a soft opening, Fp+ won't be made available until the official opening date. Harambe Nights tickets have been available for a few weeks and the first night is June 7th.

I am going the last full week in June and I really want to make FP+ res. I will be checking every day now.

I'm sure it will be open the first week of June. The theater must already be finished because there is a performance scheduled in it for Harambe Nights on June 7.

This could just be wishful thinking, as I will be there June 8.

I believe you are correct. With Mickey's Jammin' Jungle parade closing on May 31st, the opening of FOLK will quickly follow. June 2nd has been reported in this forum and on others.

I hope it will open early June too! We are arriving June 14th and heading to AK on the 17th. This is our FAVORITE thing to do at AK and we almost were not going to go because the show wasn't open yet, but we decided to go and take a chance on it opening. Fingers crossed!!

FYI, just checked again to see if FP+ were available for our June trip and nothing is showing.
