Fess up who's addicted to Disney?

My name is Karen and I think I have an addiction also. I drive my husband crazy because I am on these boards daily, read the trip guide books cover to cover, and we just got back from Disney with our kids 1 week ago and I am already planning for the next one in June 2008. I am going to start substitute teaching this fall, so maybe if I work 2-3 days a week we could go back sooner than that! My 5 year old DS says he wants to go back and live at Disney world(it was his first time). What is it about Disney that gets us all excited to go all the time? I think the escape from reality is good for all of us!!!

My name is Nichole and I'm also a Disneyholic. It wasn't that bad until I had DD and she fell in love with Pricesses and everything Disney. Now DS is starting to love Mickey, Pooh, Tiger and all the characters and movies too. Before kids I went to Disney for the first when I was 6 anddidn't go back until I was 23. DD first trip she was 2 and then again next year when she was 3. Then I got pregnant with DS and he has been a handful so this year were finally going back after a 3 year break.

We are so addicted that we are going to NYC for 4th of July weekend just to see the Disney World of Disney Store in Manhatten! Nuts, eh? If anyone has been to that store what is it like?

Hi. I am Mary and I too am addicted to disney. Everything, the movies, the merchandise, anything on tv or the internet. I love it all. I usually wear some type of Mickey earrings and last December in WDW I found some larger silver hoop style earrings where there are little Mickey heads on the bottom.

Just last week, while golfing with friends, I had one comment "Oh, you aren't wearing Mickey earrings!". I just smiled at her and she stepped closer and said, "Oh for heaven's sake - they are Mickey earrings!".

Gotta love it.

Hi I'm Stacey and I too am addicted to all things Disney. I've always loved Disney as long as I can remember but really went crazy when I had children and took my daughter for the first time in 2004!! Since then I've went twice in 2005 and am planning (booked) for this Dec. I wish I could go more than once a year !!! As it is my DH has mostly accepted my addiction, my children know everything Disney and are learning well!!!! Their rooms are Disney as well - they change every once in a while but always remain Disney!! I love to plan trips and have even started helping friends and family plan their trips now! I love Disney and because of the DIS boards I can tell everyone in my family that I'm not a freak!!!

Every room in my house has something Disney in it, some more than others.

Last summer I got a Mickey tattoo on my ankle. It's the one of the Mickey Head with the American flag inside it.

My name is Jodi and I confess I am a Disney addict. I was born in Southern Calif. I was lucky enough to be born to a father who took us to Disneyland often. I bet I've been over a hundred times before I was 15. We then moved to Oklahoma . I have been stuck there ever since (married a man I couldn't move with dynamite. Now my kids an 4 grandchildren (and twins on the way) live here and you couldn't move me either. I've only been 2 times since then. July will be my first time to Disneyworld and boy am I looking forward to it.

Me too. Started planning the activities for my next trip, while I was still there in January, as in: "Oh, I forgot about that, write that down for the next trip kids". You'd think after all these years I'd have run out of new things to do.
