Ferryboat ride

How long does it take for the ferry boat to get from Fort Wilderness to the Magic Kingdom? Also is is faster to ride the ferry and get on the monorail to go to Epcot or take the bus?

Depending on how long you have to wait for a boat, the ride over to MK can be about 10 minutes or so. It also depends if they are stopping at WL first, or go to FW and then stop at the Lodge.

When we stayed at FW we would take the boat to either MK or COntemporary (whichever arrived first) and then monorail to EPCOT. We never bussed to EPCOT, because we enjoy the boats so much.

I'd recommend taking the bus to Epcot. The bus travels from the Outpost Depot directly to Epcot.

The boat from the Settlement area will take you to either the MK or the Contemporary. From there, you can hop on the monorail to the TTC. From there, you need to switch trains to get to Epcot.
