Fence help

My DH and I would like to fence in our backyard. We live on just over an acre lot and we are the last house on the street. SO what it looks like is really not a concern to us (chain link, wood). We will need around 500 feet of fence. Does anyone have any web sites to put us in the right direction. We are trying to keep it as cheap as we can like under $4000. Is this even possible? I just want to be able to let the dog out and not have to worry about her and it is alos nice to know that the kids are fenced in too.

I'd also be interested in some pages. we have just under 4 acres and have a small backyard farm (horses, goats and chickens) we abut a school and we need to add a fence around the property so the animals cant get out and unwanted visiters cant get in. we want a 6 foot chain link with a gate at the back ( that abuts the school property) and then a nice wooden or plastic fence inbetween the 2 neighbors and a pretty picket fence in the front. not too much to ask huh!
