Feeling Stressed

I am going to MK this Wed, as an offsite guest, and after reading all the threads about the new FP+, I feel extremely stressed out!

I have been to WDW over 30 times in my life. My DD is 3, and this week will be her 5th visit. DD and I went with my DH this past September, stayed at WL, used the old fast passes, and had a wonderful time.

I am currently staying at my parents house, an hour south of WDW, and they want to take DD for the day next week. My brother will be joining us too. This group is not, by any means, WDW experts and they expect me to know everything to do on the visit. My dad and brother both have short patience, and I can see them getting agitated with lines and me not knowing how to use the new system.

After reading all I can, I have an idea of what to do...but as I mentioned I am still feeling anxiety about wait times and what to do.

Must have's for my DD are Winnie the Pooh, Barnstormer and meeting Rapunzel. From what I have read, these won't be a huge issue? I would also love to have lunch at be our guest, but I'm not sure dad and brother will want to wait a long time. I think we should go to Peter Pan first and then go set up our FP+???

(We went to Epcot last week and my sweet mom waited 4 hours for us to meet Anna and Elsa, after my group not believing me about the wait time. So, I am thinking they will believe me now...I just want to know what to say for anything I may need to prep them for! :) )

Any advice or calming words are appreciated.

A bad day at WDW is better than a good day at work.

I would say get there at Rope drop and try to find out ahead of time where the FP+ Kiosks are. I would skip the two closest to the entrance at RD time and go for one further back in the park. I am guessing that those attractions should be fairly easy to get. I would explain to them ahead of time that extra patience may be needed on this trip, and that while you are a pro at WDW, you have never used the new system. Maybe they will go with open minds! Have fun!

Wow! A four hour wait to meet Elsa and Anna? Your mom is a trooper!

Perhaps since it isn't the weekend the waits won't be too bad. I would think a Wednesday would be particularly hopeful.

If you can make rope drop (or close to it) I bet you'll get in all the things you'd like to get in. :thumbsup2

I agree with the rope drop advice. Find out where the kiosks are and try to go to the most out of the way location. If you can get the group in the park, you can take off with the passes and set up things at the kiosk.

This is what I am thinking too. My dad has always loved It's a Small World, so I am thinking they can do that while I set up the FP+. That's one ride I don't mind skipping. ;)

I know we will have a fun day, I just want it to be as smooth as can be.

Check out easyWDW website, Wednesday MK is the most preferred park. So don't be stressed as PP have said RD will definitely help. Between RD and 3 FP+ you should be able to get a lot done. As for Be Our Guest you will probably have to wait a little bit to get in there for lunch, we waited about 25 minutes to get in in early November, try and get there a little early. :thumbsup2
