feeling like a blob today...recommend a diet?

I have been on WW since beginning of Jan and have only lost 9 lbs BUT I walk 5 days a week for 45 min. I know my clothes are looser but I find that the weight creeps off just like it crept on. I wish I had a faster method. I want to lose 15 lbs by May. That is what I tell myself but really I want to lose MORE. If I set my goal too high I will get too depressed and then it snowballs. I cannot cut out carbs but I can eat them in moderation. I still think WW is the best solution because it is as they say "living."

I'm not sure how overweight you are but, mostly likely, walking 5 times a week for 45 minutes is not strenous enough. You may have to increase your intensity or lengthen your walk. I know that I didn't get any real results until I pushed my walk time to an hour and 10 minutes.

I was always a big fan of WW, but then I found SparkPeople and I feel that it's just as good. I did pretty well on it last year, but then just lost my drive and motivation when I got my jobs back in October. Gained 10 pounds back and now I'm looking to go back on.

My big problem (among many LOL) is eating out too much. Once I was able to get that under control, the weight started coming off. That's where I got into trouble with my jobs. Every day my coworkers went out to lunch and invited me along. There went my willpower right along with them.

Don't like "diets".....I started sparkpeople.com...it's fun and I've lost 7 lbs...not much but a start...it's a diet program with exercises, meal options, weight loss teams, health information....

another vote for sparkpeople.com it's free, you can track your calories.

join jazzercise! it's fun and seems to be the only way I can lose some tonnage now that I'm 40. Can't just starve it out of me anymore:confused3
