feel bad for dh

he bought me some jeans a shirt and pair of shoes all were too small I gave my dd the jeans (they fit her and we really likes them) the shoes I'm going to return and shirt I will wear as an undershirt I didn't let him know it was too small all dh could say yesterday was that I WAS going to get a pair of jeans period!! I told him not to worry about it but he called me and said when he gets off he wants to take me to get me a pair well i guess i'll make a night of it I have a gc to olive garden we'll use

Ooops! My mother bought me several tops and sweaters, and I noticed that a couple of them are size small. I'm not a small. I'm SHORT, not small. Goodness knows where or when she got them, though, so I'm not sure if I can return or not. Probably my older sister will just end up getting some nice blouses. She is small.

at least 'your' dhs think you are little. My dh buys everything too big, think "Omar the tent maker". I am a size 10 but DH buys everything at least 2 sizes too big. Great for the ego.

I remember one year DBIL got DS a night gown - in size 3x!!! I guess some guys don't really take the time to look at the size! They are divorced now.....

This year DH got me sweats from VS - the ones that say "Pink" across the hiney. I had told him that when I lost enought weight I wanted to get a pair of sweats that said something across the butt..... I guess he thought I was at the right weight - but I don't!! I had him take them back, and told him that I'll buy them again in a SMALLER size when I get there. It was a really sweet thought though!!!!

Hang on to that one. My DH didn't get me anything and that really hurt me. My mom would always take him and pay for whatever he got me, but she passed away in Aug, so I got nothing. DH got a new PS2 giftset. I went to try to buy myself some PJ's, which mom always did as a surprise because I usually picked out what she bought me, but didn't find any that fit, so I gave up.

My poor MIL got me two nice tops and a really nice vest for xmas, but only one top fit. The others were too small. Poor thing has been running around all day trying to find them in the right size; I told her not to go to any trouble, but she is determined! I do hope she finds another vest in my size, though. It was a really pretty grayish-silver colored Ralph Lauren vest...something I would never buy myself! The weird thing is, everything she got me was a medium (which is what I normallly wear), but I guess some brands run smaller than others. So she did have the size correct, but sizes are so weird that you really need to be in the store to try stuff on yourself.
