I"m going to chef mickeys, ohana, and biergarten. DD is 2 so we shouldnt be charged for her, but if I get her a plate, say at chef mickeys , will I be charged for her?? Do I have to feed her directly off my plate? Thanks!

We took our DD to Chef Mickey's for her 1st birthday. Since it was a buffet, we did get her her own little plate and didn't have any problem with this. When we ate at a TS that was not a buffet, we took the food off of our plate to feed her.

Your child can have as many plates & eat as much as she wants at the buffets. She will not be charged. Even at a TS, you can ask for a plate for you to put your food on for her to share. Disney is very accomodating.

We also shared food at TS with my DS3 we just asked for a extra plate when they brought out our entree's and where never questioned. Also at Shutters (we had gone with my cousin and her 2 kids 3 and 2)our server pratically insisted all three kids eat off of one plate of pasta b/c it would be so much.

I've traveled with a two year old. . .on more than one occasion LOL and it has never been a problem ANYWHERE in the world. I would even say they fully expect you to do that.

I've done those three restaurants with a two year old. All three have nice selections for kids and adults (I love the hawaiian bread and juice at ohana). The characters come around in a fairly timely fashion. I have to say I think the family style buffets like ohana (garden grill is another that does this) are easier with kids this age because you aren't having to worry about going back and forth to the buffet line. You just sit and they bring it to the table.

My kids LOVE biergarten. . .when the live band plays the chicken dance it gets crazy :) and, the maracas they let you borrow to parade around ohana with the characters is also one of my kids' favorites.

Don't worry...the restaurants see this all the time. I was a bit worried last year with my then DD who was 2, but after the first meal it wasn't a concern at all.

Our family is heading to DWD in October with 3 kid (8, 6, 2) so it is wonderfrul to know what to expect before you get there. :thumbsup2

Our 2YO can eat like a horse when she gets going but now I know she will be free!
