Hello!

We are going to be in the parks from November 30th to December 8th, and I am getting so scared for the ADRs after seeing how much trouble people are having getting the reservations they want. We have always been pretty lucky with me getting online right at 6 a.m. but it sounds like I may need to have multiple computers/tablets going at once to make this happen...

Would you mind giving your opinion on the order in which I plan to try to make my ADRs online? My 180 day mark is this Friday and I am freaking out - more than a little...

1. CRT dinner - day 8 of trip
2. BOG lunch - day 8 of trip
3. BOG breakfast - day 7 of trip
4. 'Ohana dinner (on a MVMCP night) - day 7 of trip
5. Crystal Palace breakfast - day 2 of trip
6. Akershus dinner - day 6 of trip
7. Mama Melrose VIP Fantasmic Package - day 4 of trip
8. 1900 Park Fare dinner (on a MVMCP night - day 2 of trip)
9. Tusker House breakfast - day 3 of trip
10.Chefs de France - day 5 of trip
11.Biergarten - day 1 of trip

Thanks so much for any input you have! :goodvibes

Good luck!!! If you want any of these breakfasts to be before park opens I may adjust my recommendations.

I adjusted the order based on my experience (and I booked earlier this week for my trip!)

1. CRT dinner - day 8 of trip 2
2. BOG lunch - day 8 of trip 1
3. BOG breakfast - day 7 of trip 7
4. 'Ohana dinner (on a MVMCP night) - day 7 of trip 3
5. Crystal Palace breakfast - day 2 of trip 4
6. Akershus dinner - day 6 of trip 5
7. Mama Melrose VIP Fantastic Package - day 4 of trip 9
8. 1900 Park Fare dinner (on a MVMCP night - day 2 of trip) 8
9. Tusker House breakfast - day 3 of trip 10
10.Chefs de France - day 5 of trip 11
11.Biergarten - day 1 of trip 6

Also on the above I think your long shot is Biergarten on Day 1. I think you will be looking at a late dinner for 1900 Park fare on day 2; and a 9-10am breakfast at Crystal Palace for day 2.

If you could switch Chefs de France and Biergarten I think I'd keep the order I suggested but you will have more likelihood of getting the reservation.

Thanks so much! I am surprised at how popular Biergarten is getting - it used to be the easiest reservation to get. I will definitely consider swapping days with Chefs de France. I was hoping to get BOG and/or Crystal Palace before park opening, but it's not critical. Every year we have done CP prior to park opening with no problem, but I am definitely getting the feeling things are different this year... Did you end up getting everything you wanted? What were the biggest struggles for you during the reservation process? Thanks so much!

I don't think the Biergarten will be that hard, truthfully. I would also flip it with Chefs.

I feel like some of the problems booking Epcot restaurants are because they haven't released the Candlelight dining packages. Or is that just wishful thinking on my part?! :)

Bottom line is, as competitive as FD has made getting ADR's, you're going to have to be a lot more flexible on your "what day of the trip I'm going to eat here" schedule. It's ambitious, but prepare to be VERY flixible.

Honestly, based on what I saw this morning, crystal palace before park opening would be my number 1. The good thing is you have a lot of popular restaurants later in your trip.
