Feedback... Please

I just read about the Salsa Championship beening held at Coranado Spring Dec 12th-Dec16th.

Any feedback as to how busy the hotel is going to be would be very helpful. We arrive on Dec 12th and I am a little concerned with this event. I was planning to fax a request to the hotel a week before our arrival to request a specific room. I don't know if that is going to help if the hotel is packed. I am assuming the people would arrive a day or 2 before so we would get the leftovers.

I wish I would have known this before....

Don't bother faxing, they are thrown away. If you've got any requests, call CRO and have them added to your reservation. I also wouldn't request a specific room, but instead either a range of rooms or just specifics that you were looking for--A certain building, an upper floor, etc.

There is nearly always a conference of some sort or another at CSR, so I wouldn't worry about it. As Anne said, make requests through CRO, and tell them what you want, not where you want, to give them the best chance to help you.

But, remember they are always just requests---don't go in with the idea that your vacation will be ruined if you don't get one, and chances are you'll have a great time.
