A friend of mine is planning a trip to WDW in March 2003 and his companion was offered a deal at the Nikki Bird: $750 per person for 7 nights, including Park Hoppers and side trips to Kennedy and other area attractions. I'm suspicious by nature, so I told him I'd check it out. What kind of place is it? And is this a good deal for what the hotel offers? Thanks for any feedback!

The Holiday Inn Nikki Bird is a decent place. I stayed there a few years ago. The carpet looked old, but it wasn't bad. It certainly wasn't the Ritz, but it was a no-frills place. The room that I was in had a fridge and a microwave. I paid $25 a night for this hotel off Priceline. I don't think I'd go above $30-$35 for it.
