Feedback on resort booked

I would like some feedback on our travel plans for our 25th anniversary trip - with the 3 kiddos

I have gone back and forth with resorts because of what is scheduled. We are going to stay a couple of nights before our cruise (will be staying at AKV afterwards with some family members). I have a YC CL room booked right now. However, I was able to book a wishes cruise for our first night. I don't want anyone in the family to know - it will be a huge surprise. I keep thinking that logistically, it may make more sense to stay on a monorail resort. Hubby is planning on doing the drive along race thing the next morning. We just plan on doing a pool day that day and will leave for the port the following morning. SAB was the draw for that day and we are booked at Flying Fish for dinner. I can't decide if I should switch resorts and book a nice restaurant at a monorail resort for that evening. Thoughts??

I probably would not move just for the Wishes event, especially if the primary goal is to be around the resort. An EPCOT resort is a great choice, as you'll have the great pool and the events/services at the Boardwalk. In addition, the minigolf (Fantasia Gardens?) is right near the Swan & Dolphin if you need it.

I vote to stay.

Thanks for your input! I think we will stay put, but get rid of CL as I haven't heard great things about it. It's a special trip - we normally wouldn't do extras or signature dining, etc.
