Hello! My 60 day FP window opens next week, and I would love some input into my MK FP plans.
Our party is: Me, DH, DD 4 (41”), DS 2 (33”), My mom and dad
11 day trip with 3 days MK + 1 MVMCP
My kids are very early risers and go to bed at 7-730pm, so our plan is 1 park/day (no hoppers) with general daily plan for rope drop/ppo, stay in park till early/mid afternoon, return to hotel for pool/nap, signature dinner. This is a very family focused trip and as such we will not be doing the big coasters or rides that everyone cannot ride, aside from SDMT and BTMR that I think my daughter will adore.
Any feedback on my MK days is much appreciated!

With the exception of SDMT, you likely won't need your 9am Fastpasses for Pirates and Under the sea. If you rope drop Pirates on Sunday, you will basically be able to ride once and then just get right back in line if you would rather save your FP for something else. Same with Under the Sea on Thursday. If you would rather save your FP for another ride on BTMR, you won't need your Under the Sea FP for the 9am hour unless you just want to use it that way.

I agree. We were there during an evening emh and the park was packed! But under the sea had FP availability all day long. It's a quick moving ride so standby isn't that long either. If you get over there anytime before 11 it should be a walk on.

The day you have a pre-park opening BOG breakfast you should be able to ride 7DMT before the park opens if interested and then you can head straight to Peter Pan.

We've been able to ride Pirates/Haunted Mansion/BTMRR/Splash walk on with zero wait at rope drop. We typically do BTMRR first, then Splash then either Pirates or Haunted Mansion and never have to wait very long.

Two things we still really like even though our kids are older are the Laugh Floor and Philharmagic, so might think about working those in. Good midday shows since they get you out of the heat and usually don't have terribly long waits.

With Thursday Pooh FP at 10 and BBB at 10:20, your daughter and whoever goes with her might not be able to ride Pooh. We were told to show up 15 minutes before our BBB appointment. I'm not sure if everyone does that, but thought I'd point it out in case your daughter is a huge Pooh fan.

I wonder if only allowing 45 min for breakfast is going to work? It might...but PP lines do get long at RD. Its a risk but noy impossible. Keep in mind that the week you're talking about is Jersey week........hotels (based on what I've seen) are booked up........crowds could be an large.....even at RD. Also that day is the first MVMCP......so folks may go early since they cannot stay late. o_O I would also think that Pirates at RD probably won't be a big line........since most folks head to Fantasyland at RD. Also look to reduce any zig-zagging........it will make it easier to navigate.....especially with younglings :yoda:

We're at WDW during that week also...........No matter how it goes have a wonderful vacation! :)

I would push your FP until after 11am. Being at the parks that early, you won't need a FP for most of those fantasyland rides that early nor will need any FP at Adventureland- even at peak times. You really need your FP from 11am through high crowd times. If you are flexible on when you depart the parks, you can really ride many of those early FP times several times and save your other FP for other rides at busier times. Your first day at MK, get your FP for SDMT, Pooh and your characters and then fill in as you've used them up. Your second MK day you do not need a pirates FP at 9am, maybe use it for carpets or another attraction. Ditto for your last MK day, you don't need an arial FP at 9am. Sounds like you've got all your food planned and will be really fun for your kids.

They can do the fast pass ahead of time, they let you in 5 minutes early and with an appointment I'm sure it could be even earlier, just like they will let you use your fast pass at another time if you have jedi training. I do think that 16th day seems too packed. Lunch at 12 at CRT is what 1 1/2 hours? A fast pass at 12pm is not going to work. then hotel and nap and back to ohana by 5:30?

Great input here, thanks. Will consider dropping those 9am FP (except SDMT) and spacing out 11/16 to ensure enough time at BBB and CRT
