Feedback on 7 month ressie experience 2nd week of June....

Can anyone share their successess or failures with obtaining OKW or VWL reservations at the 7 month window for Studio accommodations beginning around the 10th of June or so?

Thanks for any experiences that you might be able to provide.

OKW should be fairly easy to get at the 7 month window, it is a large resort. The exception would be major 3 day weekends and the Christmas holidays. VWL may also be available. Folks that aren't tied to school schedules tend to travel in early June, as there is a slight point increase around June 10th or 11th every year, so sometimes Early June is harder to book than mid-June.

I assume you are looking for 2004. For the heck of it, why don't you call MS tomorrow and ask for availability for June 2003 that week and see what availability looks like now at 2 or 3 months. Right now disney.com shows both resorts have studios available for cash reservations for June 8 to 15.

That is a good idea about enquiring about June '03 just to get a feel for June '04 (which is what we are looking at). We are weighing staying off-property in either Oct '03 or June '04. We will then use points with the other stay. It is much cheaper to stay off-property in October vs. June but the only thing from making the decision is availabilty at the 7 month window in June. Thanks again for the tip.

We made ressies 7months out for June 22 this year at BCV and had no problem. OKWis our home resort. I'm sure OKW would not be a problem but I don't know about VWL. BCV is smaller than VWL and newera and we had no problem. Hope this helps.
