Fed up.....

I am stuck at work.

All my family are celebrating my mothers 60th Birthday with a barbeque at MY HOUSE!!!

To say I am fed up is an understatement! But, I hear you say - who would be stupid enough to arrange a Barbie when they are due to work

Well, the fact is that I wasn't supposed to work today, but our @*$%*@* receptionist decided that she was going away for the weekend so muggins has to step in. By this time it's too late to change arrangements for the Barbie so here I am Sometimes running a small business really sucks!!

AND to cap it all, I cooked the food for them before I left! No doubt they will all be completely plastered by the time I get back at aound 10pm.

Well, I feel better now I have vented my misery, so I will wish you all a happy and sunny Jubilee bank holiday.

hi Mrs Dazzle,

Yes, I am working today. Unavoidable but never mind.

Wen I got home all the alcohol in my house had been consumed and reinforcements sent for from the off-license. It really was quite funny watching them all sitting around my kitchen table putting the world to rights while being the only one sober.

My only complaint was that they had scoffed all the cheesecake!!

My mother is hosting things at her place tonight and there is a bottle of white wine waiting in the fridge with my name on it!
