Well the police came last night and I have to say I was really impressed with their service.

She stayed about 2.5 hours and took a 7 page statement She said that if I'd had a home address she would have gone and arrested them straight away.

Hoping I can get their address today as she said if they go unexpected they have a chance of getting our stuff back. If they have to ring his mobile and ask him to come in for questioning then we can kiss goodbye to it!

I have to phone the insurance today but i think we should be covered as this is theft - not burglery - and according to the T&C we're covered for that - so fingers crossed.

so sorry this has happened Janet, and glad the police did their job well. Hopefully something will turn up, if not I guess you can rely on karma to sort them out in the end, even if you'll never know anything about it

I know how you feel about the film, we had our nintendo wii stolen last year, and we had stupidly left our camera memory card in it with our photos from our Florida trip on it. Some things you just cant replace
