Fed Up With Target Club Wedd

My fiancee and I have tried to do the Club Wedd thing on 3 different occasions. First time, entire system was down. Last two times, we spent a couple hours scanning items and then when we are done, our entire list was gone. Then we go online and decide to do it there but it's not showing up at the store.

Anybody else having trouble or is it just our stores? I guess we're ready to try another place. I can only scan that dark red blender so many times before I might burst. LOL

I completely understand what you are are going through! I tried to add items to my registery 3 different times and each time the "system was down". I got really fed up too, but I finally got everything fixed. I am also registered at Bed, Bath, and Beyond and I have not had any problems there. I am sorry you are having so much trouble! I hope you can get everything worked out!

I know that Crate and Barrel and BBB are very helpful when it comes to registrying... CB was having difficulty with mine and they fixed it w/in a matter of minutes... GL hope it works out

We registered at Crate and Barrel for our wedding and had no problems. However, when we registered at Target for our baby registry we had probelms similar to what you are experiencing. We had to create it twice in store and once at home due to problems. I then found out that the online created registries will not link up to your instore, or atleast the baby registry didn't/doesn't. Hopefully things will work out in the end.

You so don't want to register at Target. I had friends that registered there and it was nothing but hassles. They had no problems creating a registry but nothing but problems with returns. You can only return like 2 things to Target and for the price it is when you return it then (so if it has been cleared out at $2 you only get $2) or if it wasn't on your registry (somebody bought the wrong thing) they may not even let you return it all. If you check places like the weddingchannel's message board for registering you will hear all sorts of horror stories about them. I love Target and shop there regularly but I will not register there just because they are so un-customer service oriented when it comes to returns and registries.

Do you have the antibride wedding planner too? I have it and it is AWESOME! I think we are not going to tell people that we registered at Target, that just seems entirely too crazy and not something that I want to deal with. I really like Target too, but not enough to have to deal with that!

I registered online and two days ago was trying to get back into the system (because my DF finally agreed to pick things out with me online) and I couldn't! It kept saying that I didn't have a registry, but I know I signed up and when I'd try to get them to send my password to my email (just to make sure I was using the right one) it would take me to the page to start a new registry!!!

I was going to work on it some more over the weekend and see if I can get into it and get it straightened out, but maybe I should go with another place to register?

what do you guys think? and what would be a good place to register? I picked target cause I figure they have everything there!

I'm sorry you are having such problems. DH and I had zero problems registering at Target. We first registered at the store, no problem at all, then I updated and changed the registry on-line a couple times, again no problems at all. We got nearly everything off our Target registry and they still send me "happy anniversary" cards with coupons

We also registered at Crate & Barrell but there wasn't a CB store near anyone except one friend, and another friend got something through the catalogue. So I only got a few things from CB but used their registry completer program to get the other stuff we really wanted. Target was just much more convenient for most folks.

I think we are going to look at Linens and Things or Bed, Bath, and Beyond. They have a lot of the same things Target does and I have not heard any horror stories from them.

I registered at Target as well. I didn't have the same type of problems that you are seeing, however, if you add things to your registry online, it may not be available in stores. Which really stinks!! It's just a pain if you ask me!!

I also registered at Dillards and Bed bath and beyond (my main registry). I think everyone saw that I was registered at Target and just decided to get gift cards from there......so now I have like $600.00 in target gift cards. I finally quit telling people that I was registered at Target when they would ask me. I would just tell them Dillards and Bed Bath and Beyond!!
