AH! I see. She is a new convert and still preaching her newly found faith.

Yep. That.

But since she just "detoxed" a couple weeks ago, I wonder if she wagged her finger at herself before that?

Yep. I am so glad some people knew that and posted about it. I looked for the thread and only 16 days ago her "detox" was causing her to feel like she had the flu, and as recently as three days ago she "had survived" it and couldn't "wait to do it again" (does that mean she is eating sugar now, or has already started again? :confused3

I can't take anyone seriously who wants others to make radical changes because they now feel so great--when that great feeling is so short lived and was preceded by feeling sick while on the same diet.

OP, if you are still doing this diet and you stick with it for 6 months or so and feel great, then please let us know :thumbsup2

Oh I love it! The prerequisite "detox" initiation rite of the "toxic" sugar group. :rotfl2:

The sad state of this country and it's education system is never shown more than when the junk science loudmouths find a new made up crisis!

Bet she thinks bottled water really does come from a mountain spring!

PS the only way your body can "detox" itself is called the Liver or Kidneys and unless you have diabetes your pancreas can handle all the sugar you can throw at it. and it really doesn't care what form it is in.

I've just read all 17 pages, and it's official........my eyes have GLAZED over! Ya' get it? Glazed? As in a toxic sugary (???) substance!! Anyone??? I was so proud of that bun! Pun! I meant PUN!!

Bill O'Reilly just interviewed Katie Couric, the film's executive producer on "The Factor".

How odd that nobody even mentioned the word "toxic".

And oddly enough, Katie fessed up that she has not eliminated all sugar from her diet.

I wonder if maybe the OP works for the HFCS lobby. What better way to get people craving donuts and likely to ignore this documentary coming out than what she has been saying/doing on this thread!

My grandmother enjoyed home baked items and she also made candy occasionally. She sadly died when she was 95 but at least had no idea that she was poisoning herself.

ETA: That jelly donut looks good. But then I like ranch and ketchup (not together) so what do I know? ;)

Ha, so she has JUST gone on this kick so recently?

I give it two months before she's hunkered down in a corner, gorging on cookies and pies, drinking sugar straight from the bag until she passes out with jelly filling dripping down her chin.

OP, Katie Couric, the executive producer of the film probably eats more sugar than you currently have in your diet.

You have any thoughts on that?
