How is February in terms of crowds, weather, and pricing at both US/IOA and SW??

We're trying to assmeble a trip with a group of friends and that seems to be the timeframe that's working for everyone.

February is off season so the rates would be lower and the weather is usually very nice. The crowds take a break in February so it's a good time to go. You might want to skip the water parks though.

We were leaning towards school vacation week here in Massachusetts...which would be President's Week. Im noticing the rental homes consider that High Season.

Members of our party are worried that will mean high crowds at Universal and Sea World. Is that what we should expect? I only know Disney and even at that I've never been at that time of year before.

The weather sounds good though. One member of our party has an allergy to the sun so she has to wear long sleeves and we dont want her to melt away.

We were considering renting a house that will have a pool but I know that we can have that heated so hopefully that won't be too cold!

I went the week after Presidents week, and the crowds were very low, I can't comment on the crowds for your week though. The weather was great, but make sure your ready for cool weather because it *can* get cold for Florida, but thats possibly just my opinion. You'd have to pack for any weather, you can get warm or cold. Great time to go though, I always enjoyed going in February.
