Now I'm thinking maybe we'll go to DL at the end of February 2010. Is that a good time to go? I'm sure the parks will have reduced hours, but that's fine since our kids probably won't make it up too late with a 3 hr time difference anyway. I'm a little concerned because I heard it will be an El Nino year. Is that likely to make February colder and rainier than usual?

We have been in Feb 3 or 4 times now. You can certainly expect less park hours, construction, less parades & shows, and ride closures. However, it is less crowded. (I would avoid Pres Day though).
The park is always open until midnight Fri & Sat so you can get your nighttime fix if you stay over a weekend. :)

We went the end of Feruary begining of March about 3 years ago. It was nery nice. Low crowds. It did rain quite a bit but the rain clears the park out. You can either bring ponchos or buy the Mickey Mouse ponchos they put out at the first sight of rain.

Just be aware that it can rain on you, we went twice in Feb this year and it rained on us both times. :)
