I am getting ready to start packing for our trip :banana::banana:

We leave for DL the first week of February. I have read and heard that it is uncharacteristically warm right now. I have never been this time of year. we usually go in the fall, so I wondered if any locals (or someone there recently) can verify or elaborate!

I cannot wait! Our family has had some tragedies lately, and really need to go to our happy place! :)

I would like to know the same.. even though we are not going until the end of Feb.

We fly out on Sunday. Yesterday one page said it would be chilly, and the other said it would be warm. I guess we have to pack for both :confused3

I need to pack too!!

It's really hard to predict the weather here. We live an hour away from DLR. Just a few days ago it was cold with temps in the 50s and yesterday and today it's in the 80s! Definitely bring some sort of sweatshirt or jacket for mornings and evenings since it can get chilly at those times. Layered clothing is the key. Have a great trip!

Anything goes right now. Our weather has been so up and down lately that it is very hard to predict. Last Saturday we went to Disneyland in the rain and I didn't need to remove my coat all day (it was still cool even after it stopped raining). Yesterday and today have been in the 80's.

As others have said, bring layers. Even when it is 80 during the day, it still gets cold enough at night to require a light jacket.

Also, let me suggest that you check the forecast at accuweather.com for Anaheim. The closer you are too your trip, the more accurate the forecast will be.

On Sunday morning this week, the hourly forcast for Monday was rain till 1:00, clear skys for an hour, and then cloudy with some rain for the rest of the day. I seen the forecast and thought "no way could they know it would clear up for an hour." On Monday, it rained until very close to 1:00. The skys then totally cleared up, sunshine and all, for about an hour before it clouded up and misted for the rest of the day.

My hobby is weather. Sorry, but I've learned Accuweather is one of the worst places to get weather data. Accuweather is really only correct within 24hrs. Other than that, they aren't very accurate.

Right now there's an inside slider without any moisture attached and it's bringing record temps to So. Cal for this time of the year. This weekend will be windy with temps in the 80's and cooling on Sunday. Temps will drop into the 70's on Monday. The next possible chance for any kind of percipitation is on Feb 8th. But that's in what we call fantasyland (300 hrs out). Too far to really predict at this point, but the MJO is supporting the models.
