T-mins 6 days! WOO HOO!!!

One week from today....we are leaving on a jet plane!

Due to my work schedule (darn work! ) I have had to push back my trip until May. Kind of bummed, but at least I shouldn't have to worry too much about rain in May.

I have a BOGO Legoland coupon that expires at the end of March that I cannot use. If anyone is planning on going and can use it, PM me your info and I'll throw it in the mail for you.

We are here now! I can understand now why people love this place so much. We spent 10 hrs.Sunday in DCA and 11 hrs yesterday in DL. The longest wait yesterday was for Autopia and it was 20 min. Yesterday was also a holiday so it would seem the crowds are very light. Sunday at Grizzly River Rapids the wait was 5 minutes and last night at 8 pm the POTC was immediate walk on.In fact when our boat got back there was only one guy waiting to get on. The park didn't close till 11 so...I love February.

We were upgraded to a suite for our first two nights and now we are in a new refurbed room for 6 nights in the Dream tower. I LOVE DISNEYLAND

I will try to post again later this week as to what the weekday crowds are like.We didn't go into the parks today as we had one day without a PH and it poured buckets, so we shopped in DTD with all our rain gear on. Very few people around.

Our dates have changed to 2/22 - 2/26. We are all getting really excited!!

Sounds great. I hope the rest of your trip continues to be so low on traffic and fun on experience. I would imagine it will pick up a little as the holiday gets closer.

We're leaving in the morning, spending the night half-way down to visit friends. Wednesday my niece is coming with her hubby and 3 little ones, and we're kidnapping the kids (ages 5, 4, and 1) to go into CA with them, since our own were big by the time A Bug's Land was built.
I'm so excited!

5 days until we leave holy cow i can NOT believe how much time has flown, but am very glad! lol starting packing! wooohooo

We leave tomorrow night after work and I am soooooo excited.

I have my GAD vouchers printed, my park hoppers are purchased, my son's birth certificate is packed, my reservation for Club 33 all set.

I decided to buy 3 day parkhoppers to get the MM. I called customer service and they assured me that I could use my hopper and my GAD voucher to upgrade to an AP.

Also, at the last minute HoJo's came through with 3 of my 4 dates at the Entertainment Rate. Which was good and bad. Good it was cheap, bad I don't have a card. Then on their website in the Discussion Forums just last Friday they announced AP holders can now get the same discount of 50%. So, I don't need the Entertainment Card just an AP. Sweet.

My only let down is the price of car rentals...they have skyrocketed! I have continued to check them the past 2 months and still they are very high. There is no way I'm paying $50 a day for a car. So, we will take a taxi.

My body is a buzz...and it is all I can think about being in Disneyland on Wednesday morning.

I am also so excited it is going to be sunny and warm.

I will have my LGMH on my pin lanyard....say Hi if you see me!

well have fun dear! its great you are getting good deal on hojo, we have the ET rate too its great. and i agree 100% with the cost of car rental itss gotten extremely rediculous! my mom has to pay about 200 bucks to rent a car for like 5 days from fontana CA and its too MUCH! period!

Hi fellow Feb'ers! If you are at CA on Thursday Feb, 25th or DL on Saturday Feb 27th keep an eye out for our young dancers! They perform both those days but we don't have times yet. I will be the mom with the most tears in my eyes as I see my DD dance in one of my favourite places in the world. What a treat and a privilege! They are wearing bright orange, yellow and black costumes and are hard to miss! So exciting!!!

We're coming in from Alaska for my daughter's frist trip ever to California. We're staying in San Diego 2/18 - 2/23, and Anaheim 2/23 - 3/2. Crowne Plaza Resort Anaheim.

Neither of us has ever been to DL or CA.

little update on HOJO ET RATE. i know some people have been looking for dates and they werent available. however, yesterday there have been several dates added for the rate if it may help anyone
