February Question

Hello,

I would love advice from all you smart Disney pros. I am in Las Vegas and am trying to plan a Disney trip with my 7 year old son and husband.

He has Monday, Feb. 28th off from school. How do you think the crowds will be? I really want to research this because I messed up SO bad the only other time we went about 4 years ago. I went on his track break thinking schools were in and it turned out to be spring break for half the country.

Any advice is much appreciated. TIA

I don't know why that would be a busy day. Especially since Eater is coming real late. I think Spring breaks have been spread out.

It looks like the cheerleaders will be in town. The convention calendar says 13000 + will be attending. I don't know how much this will affect crowds in DL, as they should be busy during the day. You will see a lot of teenage girls in huge packs though. We we there once at the same time and it wasn't too bad, but when they are around, some can be very irritating - spontaneous cheers, singing, etc.

But who am I to judge. In a former life I was also a teenage girl and cheerleader

See, this is why I turned to the experts!!!!! Thank you so much for posting. I really want it to be such a magical experience. I think I may just have to wait it out and plan for another date. You guys are the best!

I went to WDW last spring when they had a cheer competition. I went to their site and found out the itineary. This helped me figure out what parks and resorts to avoid and when. I saw about 200 total out of the thousands that were there.

Ugh, decisions, decisions. I'm just not sure what to do. School is also out November 1st & 2nd but Small World is closed. I just CANNOT go and not get to ride SW. We started going to Disney in 1973 and I just have the best memories!!!!

I'm laughing because I've been on the internet trying to figure out the cheerleaders schedule and I feel so skeevy LOL I see that the convention is actually on 2/26 & 2/27. I am just worried all 50 jillion of them will stay to go to Disney on 2/28.
