February hours

I'm traveling for all of President's Week. Comparing last year's park hours to this February, the week I'm going should have Magic Kingdom open until 10 and it still shows 8. I haven't been to Disney in a year or so, am I correct in assuming the hours will likely change?

This past February MK closed at 8pm in the beginning of the month, then was closing at 10 or 11 in the middle and end.

Park hours will likely change their usual about 30 days in advance. But I wouldn’t be surprised if the beginning of Feb was closing at 8 or 9pm

When it closes at 8 is that still when Happily ever after starts or the whole fireworks castle show?

Oddly enough the first Saturday in February (2018) recently changed from 8 pm closing to midnight at MK. It changed around 6 weeks out. I've been keeping an eye on February 10th for our visit but it's holding steady at 8 pm for MK. I'll check again at 30 days.

Edit: save for the first week in January, seems all weekdays show MK closing at 8 pm but every Saturday night is 11:00 pm or 12:00 am. As stated above this has continued into the first weekend in February so we shall see!

When it closes at 8 is that still when Happily ever after starts or the whole fireworks castle show?

"Happily Ever After" IS the "whole fireworks castle show."

There is no regular fireworks show performed at MK without the castle projections.

While 8PM can be the start-time of the show, it is not necessarily performed at that time.

This time of year (due to early darkness) any fireworks show can begin as early as 6:30PM,
so check (and re-check) the schedule as your dates get closer.

Thats what I meant the whole show. Right now its showing 8pm for when we go so i'll check when we get closer. Thanks.
