On going. Today is Day 3 of 6. But I’ll back up and start at the beginning.
HISTORY - Trip includes myself and DH, DD#4-17 and DD#2 and SiL who are DVC members. We began planning this trip about a year ago. They wanted to stay here at AKKV so they booked 2 studios. That was the best way to sleep five “adults” for the least points. Back in the Fall DD realized she had a work commitment on the last day of the trip so we moved everything back a day-still a 6 day trip. Meal ressies had been booked and were now a mess. AKKV didn’t have anything for the new first night so we booked a 2-bed at Saratoga Springs and wait listed AKKV.
They hear that we got a 2-bedroom for the first night at KV then we’ll move to the 2 studios.
I finally snagged a ressie for Ohana 2 days before we left!!!( We are STILL trying for a Be Our Guest for Wednesday. )
DAY 1- We live an hour+\- from DD and SiL who live about 5.5 hours from WDW. DH and DD#4 and I headed South about 5:30 Sat morn. We got back on the road with the other 2. (a stop for Starbucks AND Dunkin.
We got gas and a quick lunch in Ocala, FL.
We arrived at WDW about 2:00ish. Our room was not ready . We walked around and went outside and watched the animals. DD #2 suggested going over to Jambo House. We did and got the text that the room was ready almost as soon as we got there.
We came back to KV and got all our stuff up to our room. Our one night only room ....
A GRAND VILLA!!!?!?!!
3 bedrooms, 4 full baths, 6 TVs, dining space for 12. 3 balconies! Two-story livingroom with two-story windows! Loft. All ours for 18 hours! . Apparently they had no 2-bedrooms.
Then
Bus to MK, monorail to Poly for Ohana.
Back to enjoy our suite.
Up early for coffee on the balcony to watch the sun come up. Yes we had a view of the sunrise. And then we had to “move out”.
