February Booking

Hi all,

I'm thinking of booking a february trip with two friends of mine, (they are a couple).. I was thinking of the Cheyenne as it's quite cheap for all 3 of us (about £250 each for 4 nights)... this will be the first time I've stayed in the Cheyenne!

Anyway, I've heard that Indiana Jones is likely to be closed all of January for a complete rebuild, and following this I'm wondering what the likelyhood of it still being closed on the first week of february will be?

We may just book as it's such a good price at the moment and risk it, if it is closed hopefully at least BTM, SM and RnR will be open.

Hi Jonathon. If they have confirmed that the rebuild is starting in January, I think it will be severeal months before they are finished tbh. What dates in Feb are you thinking of? If it is during half term week then less things should be closed but with the downside of it being busier.

All reports seem to agree on a 6 month rebuild after that they are going to do a major refurbishment of big thunder mountain

Oh no, would that mean BTM would be down for a similar amount of time? That woudl be bad for people going during that time, but then a refurb is so desperately needed so it's got to be good for the long-term future of the ride!

I would hope a refurb would be a lot quicker than a complete rebuild. Fingers crossed.
