I plan to use some of the services because I leave immediately for a business meeting.

Funny thing is of all the services on the ship that are slightly higher than land based services (and rightly so...supply and demand), but these are either the same or better.

Maybe I'll just bring all of my drycleaning in an extra suitcase...we are flying Southwest

Thanks for the dry cleaning info - I may use it so everything will be set for when we return home. I always have good intentions to bring everything to the dry cleaners when we get home but some how it always escapes me! . . . Until I need something for an event/occasion - then I scramble!

I think we are still planning on meeting at 3 on the sail date in the promenade lounge? I haven't heard otherwise.

Hi Candy, we will try and be there as well, 3pm promenade lounge. Some people are saying it's the rocking bar lounge or something like that, hopefully someone can confirm that. can't wait.

I believe we were planning on the Deck 3 Promenade Lounge which is on the Port side of the Magic ship near the rear (just outside the entrance to Parrot Cay Dining Room which is right at the rear of Deck 3). There is a small bar, tiny stage just big enough for a piano, and an ocean view outside the port side of the ship.

Not sure about Rocking Bar Lounge - there is the Rockin' Bar D which is a large dance club type bar in the front of the ship on Deck 3.

Don't know why we didn't think of this sooner, but what does everyone do about a car seat on the plane?

I am assuming that you are just hauling this onto the boat?

So stressed and tired, 3 more days until we leave Cali, but this packing is really getting to me, forget how much work it is, and so many last minute shopping trips. Its just my DH and I, and our DS but man it's work...I'm one that like to leave my house clean before I leave out of town, so I know when I return, I can get here and rest....

I just called to find out what movies are scheduled to play during our cruise. The list is subject to change of course, but here it is:

The lady I spoke with first told me she didn't know and I couldn't find out until I got aboard the ship. I told her I've called and found out in the past so she put me on hold and then came back to give me the list and thank me for teaching her something new. I love how Disney guest services is always so nice!

On vacation! We are at our friends house which is less than 2 miles from Cinderella's castle. Only a couple hours till we can watch wishes from the back yard. Tomorrow we are starting with Hollywood Studios.

Go Wings!

Glad there are some hockey fans on board! My husband is an Islanders & Red Wings fan. My son loves his Penguins. (My husband announced the Pens/Kings exhibition game last fall. That was a special moment for our son) We have a few hockey theme magnets for our door.

Unpacked from this weekend's trip and now I need to get through a mountain of laundry before we can repack. Unless the laundry fairy decides to visit..


Thanks so much for the clarification about the "D-lounge" that makes more sense now!

OOOOO--how fun! I still have 3 days of work ahead of me! Pinch me--only 3 days, not 3 weeks! We got our FE today...cute!!! I'd gone ahead and made one, just in case! Not as cute--not as Disney! Yea! Disney! Got my clothes--they look pretty good! I forgot one t-shirt, so I went and literally BEGGED my wonderful seamstress to "expedite" my order! Keep your fingers crossed! It's my inaugural tee from the Dream.

Any takers on the wine tasting? Tonight--dust & vacuum upstairs and IRON clothes, yuck!

I'm all packed and ready to go, will be dropping my puppy off at the sister's house Wednesday night and work on Thursday before flying out Thursday evening. Will be spending Thursday and Friday night at the hotel near the port and hopefully Friday will be a beach day, that's if the weather holds out, it's suppose to rain according to weather.com. Now if only I can get my DH to pack we will be all ready to go, he always waits till the last minute to pack his suitcase.

Will be on the ship in less then a week, Can't wait.

Packing has begun.

Glad I am busy .... trying not get distracted.

My daughter woke up last night with a nightmare and came in said "I had a bad dream."

I asked her "What was it? Did they run out of chocolate soufflé on the ship?"

Packing is almost complete. Need to shuffle some things around for a better fit. Hoping that the fun FE gifts you've all been working on fit in the space that ours will be coming out of.

Tomorrow at this time we will be enroute! Can't wait. These last few days have been a little stressed.

Has anyone checked on weather??? Hoping scattered showers means just a drop or two sometime during the day. Oh well, if it does it won't spoil a fun vacation with lots of FUN FAMILIES!!

We arrived in Florida late Sunday night and the weather has been fantastic so far!
We spend today at Magic Kingdom
Tomorrow is Epcot
I hear you all about the stress of packing... My poor family had the brunt of my anxiety on Sat night but really... Mom did it all! Lots to think about and then of course, we get here and my DH forgets the one shirt I asked him to pack, lmao... Oh well
