Hi guys!

Its been an emotional roller coaster around here for the last six weeks. Our daughter has been going back and forth about moving to Idaho with her boyfriend. Even though she was in Idaho over Easter and was told that there are no job openings due to budget cuts, she decided yesterday that she is going to give up her $41,000+ teaching job here in Missouri. Of course, Russell and I are very upset not only because she will be so far away but because we don't feel it is a healthy relationship. He is very controlling and is constantly making her feel guilty for one thing or another but she always has an excuse for his behavior. Anyway, I just want to say that even though I haven't posted, I can always count on you guys to bring a smile to my face.

Dave, Russell wants to know why he wasn't invited to that all male lingerie party?

We booked our $99 bounceback cruise and were lucky enough to get on the December 3 sailing. Will then stay at Walt Disney World for a few nights to check out their Christmas activities.

Just checking in to see what y'all are up to!
We are just hanging close to home these days, I am itching to get my flower beds up and running but it is still freezing at night (or close to freezing) but our days are in the mid 60's which feels great! A few more degrees and I will be breaking out the flipflops and capris!!
Easter was good, Al took Lauren to Montreal for 10 days to see his family and I went the other direction to Vancouver to see my 87 year old grandmother. It was sure nice to see how independant and physically fit she still is, but her hearing is going so that was a bit sad to see.
We are currently shopping around for some pricing on a pantry cupboard in the kitchen. Another project on the go is a natural gas fireplace in the living room before the fall comes.
Vanessa how much longer until the new little princess comes? I hope you are both doing well.
Donna I hope that your Daughter is doing well, I am envious of you being on the ship and in the parks during the holiday season, I am sure it will be extra special!
Yes Dave, we are jealous of your jetsetting crusing lil' ole self. Happy belated b-day wishes to Michael.

Hey Wanda! Good to hear from you. Sounds like things are going well for all of you! Its great that you and Al got to spend time with your families. I'm sure you really missed Lauren though.

It is nice that spring is here but I'm still waiting for summer! Had my pool opened today but with daytime temps in the 70s and nighttime temps in the 50s it's going to be awhile before the pool is warm enough to swim in.

I have started taking a yoga class once a week and am really enjoying it! Its nice to try different types of exercise and I really needed something like this right now. The mind, body, soul connection of yoga is very uplifting.

Things are still on an emotional roller coaster around here with Kristin. She has now decided to stay in Missouri and signed her teaching contract last week. However, if a teaching job would become available in Idaho soon, she might be able to buy out her Missouri contract. And, another tragic turn of events...her boyfriend's 19 year old brother was killed in a car wreck on Sunday, April 26th. She was able to fly out there on Monday evening to be with him and his family. We picked her back up at the airport this past Sunday. So sad and tragic to lose a son (and brother) at such a young age.

Russell and I will be heading back to Florida May 27th for a week at our DVC resort, Beach Club Villas. Kristin will meet us down there late Friday, May 29th after basketball camp for her school's teams. Dory will stay with my sister again! Our DS and his wife will be taking care of things around here but have plans to go fishing, camping, and/or horseback riding around Missouri this summer.

Hey hope everyone is good. I have just been working and stuff. Went to Bamboozle 2009 this past weekend and I'm still burnt and tired from it, maybe still being tired is because of all the rain we've been having, I hate rain. So got three cruises booked got to start saving my money, but with summer coming that will be hard with concerts coming up and vacation to visit my grandfather

My doc said my lil princess' due date is August 22nd. Which is pretty cool cause my birthday is August 29th!
BUT she said that it's VERY possible I will have her earlier than that.
When I was pregnant with Leilani, I ended up going into premature labor at 7 months and they had to stop it they put me on bed rest on medication and I still had her a month early.
So my doc said it's very possible that it could happen again. She has me writing down all the pains I've been getting and told me to call her for anything.
So, I've been kinda calling a lot!
My last appointment she told me that she wants to take me out of work too, so I've been training a new girl to do my job and then I'll probably be out on disablilty. And she told me I'm not allowed to do excessive walking or standing up for long periods of time. So no more Disneyland for me until after the baby is born.
But that's ok cause I don't have much energy anyway!
I can't sleep!!! I try to get as much sleep as possible but haven't had much success cause of all the heartburn and acid reflux I get. That acid reflux crap hurts! Actually EVERYTHING hurts! I could only sleep on my left side for a little bit cause then my hip starts to hurt so I have to flip over. Then my right hip will start to hurt if I sleep on that side too! So I get irritated cause I'm only supposed to sleep on my sides but they HURT. I can't sleep on my back or my stomach cause I'm not supposed to so my next option is to try to sleep standing up like a horse. But then that'll probably hurt my back cause my back starts hurting if I stand up too long.
THEN it doesn't help that I have to pee 10 times a night either. So by the time I have to get up for work, I'm exausted!
I wish I could bring a blanket and pillow to work and sleep under my desk.

Oh wow... I just realized how much I wrote.
OK, I'm done whining now!

But other than that, I'm OK!

The baby is already pretty big! I feel her feet in my ribs now. She kicks like a lil ninja! Yesterday she was moving around a lot and I called Leilani and had her put her hand on my belly to feel it and she got so excited!
She's happy she's gonna be a big sister!

Art and I were watching Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End last night and we were telling each other how much we miss that Caribbean water!
We hope to be able to go back soon. Probably won't be for a couple years though cause we want our new baby girl to be old enough to at least remember some of it! Until then, I shall take both my girls to Disneyland as MUCH as possible!

hey, hope everyone is doing alright. Just been working here. My friend Lindsay that I met on the Magic in 2006 is going on the Wonder this week lucky her, but I'll be going August 27th on a 3 day for my dad's birthday which is August 29th so can't hate her for going now

other then all this I'm fine. Blink182 is going on tour this summer tickets are only going to be 20 bucks I've heard

Hi Everybody...

Well we're back (as those on FB know) and we had a great time and made some nice new friends. The ship got a 2 out of 5 stars from us and a pretty dismal review by me on cruise critic. Disney has us spoiled as far as service and friendliness go. The Constellation was also probably one of the ugliest ships we have ever sailed on and I keep laughing at the people who write saying it was pretty. IT WAS GHASTLY! We still had a great time, though...you know us.

Russell; you WERE invited to the party, I suspect Donna hid your invitation for fear that you might have TOO good of a time. Mark is already trying to get us to take him on as our next shirtless garden boy.

Glad to hear everyone is well and also nice to see that this thread is still going.

Julia...can you do me a favor...can you ask Pikey if he has an email address for Bradley from Guest Services Desk? He is still home in Cape Town I think, but we want to get an email to him and I lost the slip.

Hey just wanted to update this thread and say hey to everyone from this cruise. Can you all believe at the end of this month it will have been a year since the cruise. I can't, time sure does fly by.

I got another cruise booked March 6th-March 13th, 2010 on the Magic for my 22nd birthday. Then in 2011 Got dream booked in for February 20th, and back-2-back cruise when wonder goes to Alaska
