I am extremely late to the party! We have been DVC member for years, but have never been on a cruise.

I know I just read the last day was Jan 10th, but we just recently booked our cruise, and we just found this page, can we still join the FE swap?, we did not know what a fish extender was until one of our friends gave one to us as a gift for our first cruise, and we did not know we have to sign up or anything. Can we be added to the list. I promise we will leave cool prizes

Any advice for first time cruisers with 4 kids ranging in age from 7-13 would be gladly accepted!

I was also hoping we could do both, Evie is 32mo but is potty trained. I don't want to cancel my nursery time in case they won't take her or don't have space for her.We already have our 8hrs booked... 3nassau,3palo,2spa. We would also like to do the galley tour, wine tasting, beer tasting. So I was hoping she could go in the club with her big sister when we went to those.

Basically if you want your kids to make a few friends before the cruise they can go there and introduce themselves.

We've begun our countdown at home, my kids are loving crossing off the days! Ok, to be honest so am I!!!

I am soooo excited. I kind of feel bad that my kids can't get to know all the other kids beforehand, but the that would ruin the surprise for them. Last year they were surprised with Disneyland and it was priceless. Hope for the same response this year.

Also, I still am waiting to find out what the secret mickey is?

Is anyone else staying at the Country Inn and Suites the night before the cruise? Hopefully SWA will get us there right in time for supper, were going to Cazoni's Pizza. I heard from somewhere on the boards that its' the best pizza in cape canaveral. It does look really good We also have to stop at ABC liquer store , I think it will be closed on sunday . I'm getting really excited ,we can't wait to get out of ohio

We started looking into rooms too late, so we're staying in Melbourne the night before. We had a hard time finding rooms since the shuttle was scheduled for that day. We're renting a car for the day and dropping it off at the port, so I definitely plan on stopping for "supplies".

Did you see the shuttle got pushed to the end of Feb.? Maybe we'll be able to see a launch after all.

We are. We will actually be there on the 25th.

I dont know what Im going to do for dinner that night. Im not happy that Durangos closed. I was counting on eating there.

We stayed in Melbourne Beach after my cruise last week before my tour of the dream - keep in mind it is about a 30 minute drive back to the port - just so you know for planning. We were at the Doubletree in Melbourne Beach - really nice.

What is this? This is a secret exchange with another cabin, you will be matched up with a family of similar size to give a secret cabin gift to. You can do one gift on the first day or smaller gifts each day. Limit of $30 total. We will have a time to meet on the last day for a little bit to "reveal". If you are on the B2B with March 3 I will try to do you with another family that is also so you can spread it over the full week possibly.

Last cruise we did this many people either gave one gift bag with goodies for each person inside it one day, or they gave a bigger "family gift" like a picture frame or something from the gift shops onboard.

I will be gathering prices for Laynards and wristbands today - I really really would like for us to have something to identify us as part of the group (if you want to be known) because this cruise last week was the first cruise I have been on that we did not have something to identify ourselves and I only met one other DIS person and that was by accident! I did not make it to the meet because I had a conflict.

So besides lanyards or wristbands, does anyone else have any ideas?

Thanks for the heads up about the drive from Melbourne! We're driving ourselves, so I was a little worried about this. Now that we have an idea of the drive, we can plan accordingly.

I loved your facebook pictures! I can't wait to see it in person. I do have a question - Are there outlets on both sides of the bed? My DH uses a C-PAP machine and I'm trying to see if I can get away without bringing an extention cord. How about outlets in the bathroom for my hair dryer?

Do we have a name for the cruise yet? I can try making a logo. The cruise is very full considering the wdw radio people will be with us on the same cruise. The ore disney fans the better. We definitely need something to identify us.
