February 25, 2006 Western Magic Cruisers!!

Early Roll Call....we were onboard the 1/15/05 Magic and have booked this cruise for next year with a few neighbors. In all there are 4 couples and 11 kids ages 4-10. Anyone else booked yet???

It looks like this will be our cruise also. It will be my dh and I, my 16 yo daughter and her best friend, my 23 yo daughter and her dh and my two grandbabies 5 yo and 1 yo. It is Mardi Gras for us so the kids will be out of school and the prices are terrific!

We've added another room to our party for my daughter's best friend's parents! We have the possibility adding another room for oldest daughter's father and stepmom.

We'll be on this cruise too. We're going with Kellimomo3 and two other families. There are five of us: me, my husband, two daughters (age 10 and 8) and our son (age 6). This is our second cruise on the Magic. We're looking forward to it already.

We'll be onboard this cruise. There will be 5 of us...Me, My DH, DS (will be almost 6 by then), DM and DD. This will be our third cruise on the Magic....OK we admit that we got bitten by the bug and now we are addicted. We just got off the Magic (Eastern) the week of 1/8 and we are looking forward to the Western again. My parents really will like the one less sea day with the Western itinerary better.

I had to laugh when I read your name because one of the women cruising with us is named MaryJo! We were just on the 1/15 Western and missed a couple of ports so we are looking forward to doing it right the next time!!

We have booked on this cruise as well. This will be my families second cruise, but this time my mom (60+) is planning on coming as well. My family is myself, my DH (40), DS (11 by then) and DD (8 by then).

Sorry for the delayed response. I have been so busy with my little guys school Valentines Day parties, park district activities and so on. Do you ever feel like our kids have a more activities and events to attend than we do sometimes.

It looks like our boys will be the same age on the cruise. We'll have to introduce them when we get on board. Another Mary Jo......that's not very common, but it sure is a coincidence.

Sounds like you got on the ship when we got off this January. I did hear that it was a bit disappointing to miss those ports. I do hope that you were able to enjoy the time onboard. We had been on the western cruise last year, so we thought we'd try the eastern cruise this time. It was great, but my DM and DF would have liked one less sea day. So they will be going with my DH, DS and I again on this next western one.

I wish it was tomorrow...I'm tired of the cold.

We were just on the Feb. 6 four night Wonder cruise. It was our first Disney cruise and now we're hooked! We'll be on the Feb. 25, 2006 Magic Cruise also (escaping Mardi Gras here too!). It will be me, my ds (will be 15), my sister and her two dd's (who will be 10 and 7).

We just booked as well. Our family of four consists of myself, DW and two DS's (will be 6 and 8). We lucked out again that this falls during the kids' mid-winter break from school. Couldn't beat the prices for this cruise.

Now the hard part, the waiting . . . .

Count us in too! We just returned from Disney on the 27th of Feb and booked this cruise. There will be four of us - DH, me, and 2DDs who will be 12 and 4 then. We can hardly wait! This is our first cruise ever and we are very excited. I am already getting the countdown from DH!

Hi fellow 2006 Magic Cruisers!

My DH, DS (4 1/2) and I just returned from the 2/26/05 Magic and are booked for this cruise AND the 3/4/06 Eastern in '06! We REALLY caught the Disney Cruising bug

We too are already counting down the time "..'Til we meet again..." I look forward to getting to know you all as we patiently wait until are departure!

Back to back 7 day cruises!!!??!! I am SO jealous. I noticed that you have a DS the same age as one of mine. My youngest will actually be 5 1/2 when we cruise. How about yours??

Hi Kelli!
Our DS will also be 5 1/2 at cruise time! That's great, maybe we can get them together to meet that first day and they will then have a buddy in their age group in the kids club. Our son, Austin, didn't spend a lot of time there this cruise, but he did enjoy it when he was there. We didn't experience much adult night life in the clubs etc because Austin didn't want to stay in the club when Captain Hook's slide was closed! ...which it is every night when movies are playing and the kids are "resting".

I wish we were cruising in the Caribbean today, it is snowing in Colorado! Looks like we will be hunting eggs in our snow boots!

We had the opposite problem with DS Jason this past cruise! We could not get him out of the club. I had to beg the boys just to come eat with us! I guess I shouldn't be complaining! Jason loved the club although he didn't care for some of the scheduled activites. I am glad he will be in the 5-7s this time, because what he did not care for was a lot of the resting/character absed activites. The 5-7s seem to be a bit more active! Both my older boys will be in the Lab in the 8-9s. It seems like the cruise is so far away but as I learned last time, it is here before you know it!

We will be on the 2/25/06 cruise, too. There will be me, my husband, daughter and son-in-law, 3 granddaughters, 1 will be 10, 1 - 8, and the little one will be 4, our son and 2 of our friends. We were on the 1/15 cruise; hopefully, on this one we will be able to dock. We still had a great time on our last cruise. This will be our 3rd cruise as a family!!
