We just booked this cruise, I am so excited to be coming back to DCL after cruising a few times on other cruiselines.

We are travelling alone, no kids....Yaaaaa.

We are celebrating DH 45th and my 42nd birthdays.

Anyone else booked on this cruise??

Hi Kim!!! We'll be sailing with you!! Wish I could also say that we were going with no kids!! Oh well...maybe next time! All I keep thinking is that next year at this time I will be starting to pack!!!!

Hi Holli, glad to hear we aren't alone on this ship.

How old are your kids, we may end up having DD who will be 15 with us but since it isn't a school vacation time, I doubt it unless she gets a really light course selection that semester.

I wish we where going this Feb, but lots of time to do some planning. I think we are going to rent a electric car in KW, Paradise beach in Cozumel and I think DH will snorkle and I will shop in Grand Cayman.

What kind of cabin did you book. We have a inside.

I am very excited to be back with DCL.

Hi Kim! My DD will be 17 and we also have a DS who will be almost 6 when we sail. When we went in 06 my daughter promised that she would get all caught up with her schoolwork and she did...so did my other DS who was 17 at that time! I figure its only a week....

We really dont know what we're going to do yet as far as excursions go! Both my daughter and younger son got sick the last time we went. DS had a double ear infection and DD had come down with that nasty virus and had to be quarrantined for 48 hrs. And with the younger one only being 3 at that time there wasnt alot of options open to us.

We got REALLY spoiled the last time and stayed in a Cat. 3...so guess where we are again?

Cat 3 very nice. We went to a DIS party in the Walt Suite in 2005, it was a beautiful room.

Oh I am so sorry your kids where sick last cruise, our first Disney cruise, DD was a little light headed the first night, and later in the evening DS and I were out for the count and sick most of the next day but we caught the northern end of a tropical storm can't remember which one, but the rest of the cruise and our other ones have been great.

Have you cruised in Feb before?? I am a little concerned the weather will be cool, we where in Key West and Nassau last year at this time and although very sunny, it was windy and cool, but no rain.

We cruised at the end of Feb. in 06. The weather was perfect!!! Key West was rainy but we had beautiful weather the rest of the cruise. Upper 70's to low 80's!! But I guess the cruise before us weren't as lucky! I heard that they had terrible weather!

I had never cruised before so I was alittle sick the first night but after that I was fine. Just alittle dizzy!

The first time we cruised we had the Cat. 3 but it wasnt a misdhip one. We do have a midship one for next year! I would love to be able to see the Walt Suite...I bet it was beautiful!!!

I always book low and mid ship. Not sure if it helps or just all in my head so to speak but it seems to work for me. We are booked on deck 6.

Since my DD heard there will be another teenager on the ship she is bugging to go, we haven't decided yet.

Well we have a friend on our reservation for my DD. But all her friends are VERY involved in sports and wont take off a week of school. The friend she had down now cant go...She's still on the reservation though. TA said to just leave her on... My oldest DS doesnt want to go. He will be almost 20 at that time and thinks he will be too old for Disney It would be nice if she could meet some girls her own age here on the boards cuz I'm afraid she's going to chnage her mind and not want to go at all!!

Saw on the other boards that inquired about Dec..I think it would be so neat to see the ship all decorated for Christmas!! I couldnt afford it so close to Christmas!!

Ya we have been up and down on which cruise to take, just want to make sure the weather will be nice. Feb appears to be it. I messed up my signature however and have to fix it. We where even considering Carnival again, the prices are so good but after a few carnival cruises it is time to come back to disney.

Our DS doesn't want to go either, although he loves disney (he will be 18) he doesn't like cruising.

My DD is also very athletic, she might only be 15 but is about 5'5" tall and looks much older so hopefully even though there is a age difference they can meet some other girls and have a great time as well.

Hi Kim!!! I know... how can it be just the two of us on this cruise!! I was too chicken to start the thread!!!! So I want to thank you for that!!
My DD is also very tall. Probably aroun 5' 9" tall. She was playing Basketball in school but broke her ankle and then a year later needed surgery on it ...so it never has been the same and kind of put a halt on her sports participation. Which really stinks for her. She works at Walmart and her ankle hurts her just from working.

To be totally honest with you I'm not really sure if we have early or late dining!! I know...duh...right!!!? Well I will check the reservations later and see if it says on there!

Its snowing here...YUK!!!! Well hate to cut it short...but we're trying to get an internet business started and have been REALLY busy! I'll write more tomorrow!!

I am NOT a winter person! The older I get the more I hate it!! I just keep saying to myself "THINK SPRING...THINK SPRING!!" I know that next years winter will be much more bareable knowing that the cruise is just around the corner!!

That is true. The only thing getting me through this winter is that DD and I are going to Disney in May for the Minnie Marathon.

Hey by this time next year I should be almost packed....lol

I couldn't find our thread. DD and I are going to do the Minnie Marathon, we are very excited plus it is our first mother-daugther only vacation. We are only going in for 4 days so not a long vacation but can't wait.

how many more sleeps till we can make Palo ressie Way to many....

Hi!! My girfriend just asked me to go to Atlanta with her in Apr. for 4 days. I would love to go but am trying not to feel gulity about leaving hubby home. 4 days of girl time sounds heavenly right about now! We didnt go to Palo when we cruised the first time! I am one of those cruisers who hate dressing up! Give me me jeans and shorts and I'm great!! We might decide to do it on the next cruise though.
