So listen to this!
A few years ago (4, specifically), my husband's company turned 10 and took all of the employees plus one guest on a 7-night Eastern Caribbean cruise on Celebrity Century. Well, they've just announced that they're doing it again for the 15th anniversary next year! This time it will be a 5-night Western Caribbean beginning on 3/9/09.
I don't plan to cancel this cruise, though.
We're going to have a week on DCL, a week at home, then head to Miami, spend Saturday and Sunday nights there and cruise on the company dime Monday through Saturday. The two ports are Key West and Grand Cayman. So, I'll have to find another interesting excursion in those places, which I'm sure won't be a problem!
If we had booked with cash instead of DVC points, I would have considered canceling the Disney cruise and doing something else for spring break with the money. But that's an awful lot of reservation points to have to use, and whatever we ended up doing would cost us more actual cash than what we plan to spend on this cruise.
