I’m planning on 3 days in the parks the week of February 2020.
If I am correct, there’s a new Star Wars ride opening in January?
I’m wondering if MaxPass will be necessary since Feb isn’t usually that busy, but with this ride that may change things.
It’s about $100 more for MaxPass so I just want to make sure I actually need it before I make more concrete plans. Obviously I have plenty of time, but just trying to plan ahead a little bit, so I’d appreciate any input about it! Thanks.

Which week in Feb.? And which days? MP can easily be purchased day of, right after you activate your tickets at the gate, so you could wait until you see the conditions in the parks on each day of your visit before making a final decision whether to purchase. As long as you have the DLR app on your smartphone and have a credit card on file with your account, once your tickets are scanned in and activated, purchasing MP only takes a few minutes.

Oh awesome. Thanks!
I will be in the parks on Mon/Tues 2/10-11, and Thurs the 13th

Just beware that “February isn’t that busy” isn’t entirely true.

As @theluckyrabbit noted, though, Maxpass can be bought day-by-day - in fact, that’s usually what I’d recommend if you’re trying to keep costs down. Maybe pick a day and pack in more FP rides, that day, for instance.

That's Lincoln's Birthday week leading up to President's Day. Not sure how schools in SO cal handle the two holidays.
I’ll have to watch for a school break calendar, I know there’s one compiled each year. Thanks for pointing that out. My kids are out only for Presidents Day that following Monday. (we are in NV).

We prefer to have maxpass no matter what time of year or how Busy the parks are. It saves energy from walking to the fp machine and then back again.

Many local schools get the whole week off, so the parks can be busy then.
