Hi! Going to WDW 02/02-02/08. I have a package booked for 3 adults and 1 child on the DP at All Star Music, and my total is 2969.00. I was given this when I made my reservation over the phone, and when I priced it out on the web my total was 3,393.55. Does this usually happen? Do you get a better rate if you call in vs. making the reservation online? Hoping I will get the S/P/D but it looks like I am already paying a discounted rate.

You don't get different room rates when booking via phone vs. online. They will be the same. Are you certain your reservation has exactly the same components as what you priced online? You need to look at number of park days, park hopper, etc. to be sure you're making a direct comparison. You should be able to put in all the same components to your package and see the same price online.

I suppose there is a chance a special offer PIN code was applied to your reservation, however, I'd also assume they would have mentioned this to you when booking.

Yep. Everything is the exact same. MYW+Park Hopper, DP & Room. I am going to call and see if a pin was applied. Happy to have the discount, but I would also l love to see the total drop even more

Question here about rates for February 2014 - Anyone know what dates in February will be blacked out? I am also wondering if it is the s/p/d discount, will it be like the free dining when you just have the check in during a valid date and your discount will apply for your entire stay?

I am asking cause I really want to book my airfare today, it is really really cheap

So confused and know someone can help me with discounts. To get RO discount, does it need to be a NEW reservation or can I make a reservation tonight and when/if the RO discount becomes available, can I call back to get it. We are staying Deluxe. I know I can add Free Dining later because I did it last time, but I had to change it to a package which was fine! Also, can someone explain the P/S/D discount? So many questions, but want some kind of discount the week of Feb 29-Mar 3. Thank you!

Yes you can book now and apply discount when released. Do it all the time

As for P/S/D, I believe it is a package that adults pay children's pricing for park tickets and the dining plan.

Any agent can help apply a discount/special offer when it becomes available from Disney.

DH & I are booked for 2/26 - 3/8 among with DS2 & DS 6. Very seriously considering shortening trip & just He & I going... Have another trip scheduled for sept with boys. Anyhow - already booked awesome TS reservations at BOG etc for 4 ... How should I approach this ... Don't want to cancel but don't want to hog valuable ressies

Time to travel is getting closer. We are leaving 2/2. As I am not a big super bowl watcher, I did not realize 2/2 is super bowl sunday.... OOOPS My great husband is not even fussing There are 2 other families are traveling with us (11 total), hope their husbands react the same mine.

Has anyone heard when the magic bands will be available for all. Also do you have to buy the tickets from Disney to get the bands, or can you get the tickets from Tickets2you then register them in My Disney Experience to get the bands?

No set date, but Disney is shooting for a release of MM+ by the end of the year. I'm not positive about getting them, but I believe you can order them without tickets but you can only choose FP+ with tickets that are linked into MDE. It will probably be a bit more clear once it goes live.

I can get tickets cheaper through another ticket dealer other than Disney, but I do want the bands, so money verses easy of use, hummmm .

I think tickets only deal with the FP+ side. You should still be able to get the bands with a resort reservation.

People have been able to like tickets from UT to the site and do FP+ so I'd imagine another 3rd party would be similar. It just depends on the retailer - Expedia bookers haven't been able to successfully link their tickets.

Have you checked out WDW FAQ for MagicBands+ ? I bought my tickets at a different ticket dealer and you should still be able to link them to your account. You won't be able to order any MBs yet but I think it mentioned something about ordering 10 days prior to your visit (when they are out of their testing phase.) I am glad you brought this up though...since these bands are on RF and could interfere with medical equipment that uses RF as well. I will have to check with the company that provided our medical device

Some pin codes have gone out.
