February 2007 and Free dining ?

Looking to book a trip for Feb 2007, does anyone know if the free dining will be offered then?

I doubt it. So far, free dining has only been offered during hurricane season. Mid-February is when peak season starts so they don't really need to offer free dining to attract customers.

Depending on when you're going, you may have trouble even getting a room. We're going Feb. 2nd-11th and I tried to change resorts only to find out there was VERY little availability for my stay.

I'm running into that problem too.. no rooms. We want to go Feb 3-9 and are just now making plans. Today there were no rooms at AKL or POFQ. We couldn't figure out what was going on. No conventions that we know of, no other special events... does anyone know of anything else going on. The only thing the CM and I could come up with is that they are holding rooms for when the codes come out. What does everyone else think?

We booked POR Feb 6-15. When we inquired about changing for the new Canadian code (which in the end was not even worth changing for) the CM told my TA that POR is almost filled to capacity that week due to a convention. They would not tell us what though?

Presiden'ts Week is one of the busiest of the year at WDW. Also, I believe that right before President's Week there is often some sort of cheerleading (not Pop Warner) going on. At least it was when we went in early Feb. 2004.

Doubtful. Codes are used to sell rooms that don't sell at rack rates. If someone is willing to pay rack for the room, they won't hold it to sell at a discount later.

I think part of the reason some of early February sells well is that the second week is Value season, but the third week is Peak. If folks have flexibility, but want to go in Feb, they may be trying to move back a bit to get a better deal.
