It will be here before we know it, yet no one has posted a thread!

The exciting thing is that we will be there on Valentine's Day:lovestruc

Does anyone know if there are any special events on this day? Will the Kids' Club be full with parents wanting some alone time?

Can't wait!

Thank you for replying to my first thread because until then, I thought we were the only ones on that ship! Congrats on your anniversary!

Just paid our final cruise payment too. :cool2:

First Disney cruise, but disney regulars, world and land. Also, chosen as Disney Family of the day at Disneyland last year.  Ten of us going on our first cruise. DH, DW DD9, DD7, DGM, DGP, DS, DB, DC10, and DC13

allright, another MSU fan onboard. Go Spartans!

Looks like our cruise is at a busy time in the area....there's a Space shuttle launch still scheduled for Feb 12 and of course Sunday the 15th is the Daytona 500...I am not looking forward to the drive north on I-95 on Sunday morning...

Wow! I hope the shuttle launch will go on Feb 12. What a great way to start a cruise.

Did not know so many things were going on this weekend. We better rent our car now, before the prices start going up.....Go Green!

Hello, my name is Kathryn and I'm a Disney Magic addict.

That should say it all....however, because the dates work better, I think we're going to do back to back Wonder cruises. DD is reasonably happy--she will turn 18 on the Wonder and be able to do Palo. However, she will no longer be able to say that all her Disney cruises have been "Magical!"

So...it looks like we'll be joining you.

Christi here. Dh and ds-10 and DD-8 will be joining you.
Just booked. We could not beat the dea

Wow another Michigander on the cruise how exciting:goodvibes

We also have children of similar ages DD7 and DD9. Also male cousins 10 and 13 from New Jersey via Michiganpopcorn::

My kids will be very surprised. They think that we are going in Aug.

We love cruising. This is our first cruise on Disney. We wanted to try it before the kids got too old.

They are the ones who convinced us to book.

Our last cruise was a 7 night in Jan.
I am worried that the 3 night will go by so fast. But, the dates work out so perfectly. My kids will only miss one day of school.

My DD will be very excited to hear there are other girls on our cruise.

We went in Jan. with my DS's friend and his family. She was upset that we wouldn't bring a friend for her.

We meet a few people on the cruise meet board. She had some friends before the cruise even started. She makes friends very easily.

My DH's office is in Livonia. Its located in the office building attached to Laurel Park Place mall.

Ok, it may be a little early, but....

Do we want to do anything like fish extenders or a dis-meet? Or do we figure that it's such a short cruise that we don't want to bother?

My dd will be very exicted to learn that they will know someone their own age on the ship:cutie: . DD7 very athletic (gymnastics, skating) and DD9 more artsy (dancing, singing). Both are girl scouts.

They have never crusied before (parents have:rolleyes1 ), but have been to DW and DL many, many times. Chose DCL for something different. Hopefully, they will enjoy it as much as the parks. :cool2:

Went on DCL website to check if we were upgraded. I know its early, but I can't help myself:surfweb: .

We weren't upgraded, but our dining was changed from late to main seating:yay:

Late seating would have been very hard for our kids since they are usually in bed by 9:00.

My DD is a girl scout, too. She loves to sing, dance, and make crafts. She is cheerleading and gymnastics. It sounds like she will have a lot in commom with both of your DDs. Your DD9 will be in the Lab with my DD since 8-9 are together.

My kids have been to WDW twice. But, they would rather cruise (which is ok with us)

We would be up for a quick meet. We enjoy seeing familar faces around the ship.

If you have any suggetions, that would be great.

AS for too early.
We booked in MArch 2007 for an AUgust 2008 cruise. We have been chatting on that board since about meets and FE.

We are wait listed for main dining. It doesn't matter though.
Our kids like to party all night on a cruise.( they go to bed around 8:30 at home)
On our last cruise, DS went to an allnight party. The counselors brought him back to the cabin at 3:30AM. He had a blast.

Your kids will probably be up late, too. The Pirate party isn't until 9:45.
