Wow just now finding this forum.. better late than never..

3 of us are from Mississippi.. our 2nd DCL cruise.. did the land and sea last year.. loved the cruise and rebooked. Party of 3.. husband, me and our dd age 6

also traveling with us is a family of 3 from Texas, my husbands daughter, her husband and their dd age 5

My daughter loved the 4 day cruise last year and she is so excited. She loves the kids club..

Looking forward to meeting y'all...

We are all flying into Orlando the morning of the 3rd and either taking a booked car or renting one to port..

I got mine the other day and really like them. I ordered 6 adult and only really need 3, so I'll have 3 extra with me. If anyone wants one I be more than happy to give it to you at the 3p meet.

I have started to try and make the door signs but am having a little trouble. I guess I'm just rather computer illiterate.

I'm also trying to get info on how to ship a box to the Magic. I want to make my own gift basket for my DSpirate: pirate: with lots of goodies and his new Disney Crocs to surprise him. If anyone nows how to do this please give me the instructions. I would greatly appreciate it.

Have a Disney Day and keep up the count down.

I'll see you all on board! I leave in the morning for WDW and will stay on there until our cruise! pirate:

Safe travels everyone!

We have planned a real life in person meet at 3pm Saturday in the Atruim at the Mickey Statue to say hello!

Thanks, this thread was getting long and I skipped the portion that had the suggested meet information. Our family will try to make it for this event. We're still anxious about possibly missing out on things/things booking-up/can't get Palo ressie etc... -> so far this is not very relaxing, just anxiety from our upcoming first family cruise!!! :scared:

:lmao: Okay...is it Gary or Gail that is the comedian?? Too funny!:lmao:

Mdmmim- Safe travels! See you in 24 days!!

My dentist....(while I was finishing up my pre-cruise root canal!!) Just told me about this web site www.cruisecal.com. It tells you what boats are in what port everyday. Some of you may have seen it..apparently it is the one cruise site I have missed!

We were planning to hit a beach (possibly Coki) in St. Thomas. BUT, there are 5 or 6 boats in port that day.....I hear Coki is small. Anyone have any ideas?? There are only 2 or 3 boats in port for St. Maarten. We were going to stay on the ship that day...maybe we need to switch our days.

Any advice??

tjeagle- You should so get off the ship in St Marteen. It is really nice and there are lots of great beaches. We were just there in Nov and took my son to Little Divi Bay. It was great. There is a rental area with everything from snorkel gear to wave runners. We swam, rented a wave runner for 30 min. My son took his snorkel gear and had a blast. There is also a beach right in the shopping area there which has a water trampoline and looks pretty cool. I think we may be going to that one on this trip.

There is also a nice beach, not real fancy but quite and never crowded in St Thomas called Lindburgh beach. We have gone there 2 times adn always enjoy it and there are no crowds even on busy port days. Not really any amenities and by the airport, but we still have fun there.

If you really want a primo experience in St Thomas you can go on a private sail and snorkle. We did this last year and are scheduled to go again this trip. It is nice because it is usually only 6 or less people on a 42-50 ft sailboat. It is all day. You sail around, stop and snorkle and go to the beach somewhere around St John. The scenery both in and out of the water is great. They also serve breakfast, lunch and open bar. It's kind of pricey(125/pp) but really worth it.

Hope this helps,
Keep counting down,
Tracey

My wife (Gail) denies having anything to do with our last post and hopes any Canadians on the thread are not offended. We have friends we sailed with on our last two DCL cruises that are from Saskatoon, which is how I learned how to speak Canadian, more or less. I have been to the Great White North (the aforementioned Saskatoon), had more than $20 of Canadian Tire money on my person, have worn flannel shirts, but have not developed an obsession for Tim Horton's coffee, even though we have four of them in Erie now. Oh, and I also have the Bob & Doug Mackenzie CD and Strange Brew video. :thumbsup2

So, that's my topic for today! Good day and God bless my neighbors to the north, eh?

HADD!!! :earsboy: :earsgirl:

Tomorrow morning will be 22 days. Looking forward to 2 weeks of sun & fun. We were soory we missed the Panama Canal Cruise last year as my wife was a school nurse. But she retired last year and we will be on the cruise from LA to Fla. The baby is home and doing grand, it's hard to believe my little girl is taking care of a baby. We got a massage chair from Brookstone and my DW has made it her home. :dance3:

It is hard to believe it is just over three weeks until the cruise:banana:   Especially since we booked Oct 22,2005. I think everyone who knows me can hardly wait for us to go as I have been talking about this for soooooo long. They just don't understand all the excitement. I tell them they need to go on a Disney Cruise and then they will understand. My first cruise was Oct 04, we were part of a group of 20, what a blast. The group is going again in June 09, but my girlfriend and I couldn't wait that long for a DCL fix, we tell everyone our DDs are the perfect age to see all the Princesses. My DH repectfully decined this trip...he says he can wait. My cruising party is my DS 9 Christian, DD 6 Catrina, myself and my girlfriend Mary Beth and her DD 5 Angelina. Now that the cruise is getting close, I think my DH is regreting his decision to stay home. We are staying at the Radisson the night before. Count us in on birthday drink gathering. I tell my friends this cruise is my birthday present from my loving DH, so I am entitled to a birthday drink or two:bday: party:

We too gave our DS and DD the cruise for Christmas, they were in disbelief and there was not the jumping up and down and screaming that I thought there would be. They are getting into as the day draws closer. Their excitement still does not match mine:yay:

Looking forward to meeting all of you!!
Cathy

We will be flying in the morning of departure. We have disney transfers to the port. If the weather gets bad then we will have to scramble for another flight earlier and a place to stay down there. Hope that we can keep the snow away until after we leave.

Somehow I missed the bracelet info. Can anyone give me details.

Cathy

Cathy,
Here is the info from Tracey on the bracelets. They are really cute! It is cheaper to get 6 than less than six! (around $20ish with shipping). My kids are already wearing them to school!!
