FEB Dance Championships at WDW

At the beginning of Feb (when I will be at WDW) there will be Dance Championships at MGM. I was looking at Sunday's schedule for the people competing and it looked like the would be at MGM all day and then again in the evening for a big party.

First, where do they have the dance championships going on? Will it affect the amount of people in the park (on rides, etc)? Also, do you think the party would be after hours? It shows that MGM is closing at 7 (and that is when Fantasmic is).

I am just wondering if I should plan to go somewhere else on Sunday?

We were there with the dancers two years ago. At that time the competitions were held in the Indiana Jones ampitheater, so there were no Indy shows that day. The party was held after the park closed.

We were there last year. They were fantastic! It was at Indiana, and it slightly affected the attendance of the park. It very much so affected the All Star resorts as it seemed most of them were staying at All Star Sports.
