Hoping your family gets better!!Nothing is worse than feeling sick and still having to take care of the little ones! And school.....I still think my DD10's teacher overloaded her with make up work! My DS14 had everything done prior to trip...and she spent all morning at AKV and on the plane doing her work she got so much!

Anyway....TLPL and TInks should be posting soon as they should be back to reality soon! lol

We were fortunate in that the kids were out of school Mon-Wed for Mardi Gras, so with a 2 day short week, there wasn't a lot of "new" info or homework. Our school is $#@%@# and doesn't allow you to take the kids out for vacations....so you can't get the work in advance - you have to come back and write a "sick" note to excuse them so they can make up the work. So if they are on vacation with their parents it is unexcused and can't be made up, but if your child is suspended, they can make up work while they are home. Whatever!

Oh boy I am here!!! Got home after mid-night last night and worked all day today. I am glad I have tomorrow off so I can catch some zzzzz....
It was crazy madness being the tour guide for 10 days staight. I think we all over planned!! But it all worth it seeing everyone in my family had good time, that make me feel good.

Ok I am going to crash, wake me up for the next cruise.

Hi everyone I'm not home yet but at the airport on a delay. We had a great time on both cruises despite a few problems 1 I was feeling like crap 2 our servers in the dining room on the 3 night were awful and 3 the weather on the 4 night was only so so very strong wind and waves otherwise I really enjoyed myself! Will post more either tomorrow or Monday

I was looking at Mom2PrincessK and jontheref 's photopass photo, you guys got some very nice shots! Oh now I wish I have more pictures taken with the characters.
It was a great idea to sharing the photopass, we got to take as many shots as we want, reminds me of the all-you-can-eat buffet on the ship.

Hi all...Sorry about not being around much, I have been insane lately!!! Girls had girl scout cookies to deliver, and activities to attend. I have been swamped at work. This weekend is the Chicago Dental society midwinter convention downtown, so I have been down there yesterday and am going again tomorrow! I love going on vacation, but hate coming home to the lists of things that need to be done!!! I think we have something going every weekend until like April 19. Who knows I'm sure that one will book up soon!!!

Jon, I owe you an appology for missing out on the engagement celebration on the last night of the cruise! I was feeling awful and fell asleep about 10pm. When I woke up the next morning I felt awful, both for missing your party and just in general! So I am sorry!

As far as trip planning goes, I have a short work trip in April for Thurs- Sun, and then in May I have a short girls only weekend to WDW Thurs- Sun, and then we have a girl scout outing to Mackinaw Islad in June and camping the end of May, the Member cruise in Sept. with a few days at WDW and then last but not least we rebooked a cruise as a Christmas present and surprise for the kids in Feb'09. So we have alot on our plate right now!!! I also am hoping to get a 5 or 6 day trip to see my sister in Alaska this summer, but we will see on airfare prices! Everytime I say yeah we are finished with trip planning something else comes up, whether its a short trip the kids are doing or something else.

Well, some updates
We got snow again! TOday UGH!

Dh and I are taking DS14 to his first concert tonight...Daughtry and Bon Jovi...yep, just for him! lol I was soo not a early 90's chick with big hair rocking to Bon Jovi...lol

Hope all is well....no cruises for us in the horizon, maybe end of 09 or early 2010...

Have been diving into our June trip as my brother and his family are going now, so we have a 2 bdr and 2 studios at OKW! They are first timers!!! Takes planning to a whole new level as TLPL knows all too well! lol

Our campground opens on May 1...(in WI...have a seasonal place) so we have started the countdown to that!
Hoping for the DVC Member cruie in 09..waiting to gt feeback abt the 08 one!

I am so ready for summer...forget spring, just bring me heat...like 90 with humidity!!! I dont want to see snow for a long time!

Good luck on the family trip...trying to incorporate what everyone wants and make them happy is always alot of fun...I am done with the traveling and making everyone happy(Other than my kids and Tim), I plan what we want and if they want to do it, then I include them, otherwise I let them go off and do their own thing! It seems to work best this way for us.

I will keep you updated on the member cruise for 2008 and 2009. As far as 2009 goes, if its in September count us in. We really enjoyed 2006, but 2007 was in October and thats a hard month for Tim to get time of work. The amount of gifts is insane and the level of service is just outstanding. We would do a member cruise over another regular cruise anyday. We rebooked a 4 night for Feb. 8, 09. We have the ability to move it based on the kids school schedule. So we are waiting for the calander to come out for next year. We usually have them by the end of March.

May 1st camping, I'm sure you are so ready for it, because it means a trip, and no snow!!! At least we hope all the snow is gone by then! I'm hoping all the snow is gone by March 15th! But I know thats wishful thinking on my part.

I am just waiting for some good weather to go to the zoo! GeeZ! Anyone else suffering from Cabin Fever?!

What a treat we all had on CC! Wow, what a grat day, wished it lasted longer with that great weather!

I know what you mean about camping...I told Tim my idea of roughing it was staying at the the super 8....Outdoors, a tent and me dont go! But a trailer with a bathroom and bedrooms sounds like its fun!
I'm also just waiting for some warmth! Dont much care how warm as long as it is warm.

Hey BD do you still has that trailer? Can I borrow it for Christmas? We want to go visit family in Christmas for a week or two but no hotel will allow us to take three dogs with us.
