Feb 26 2006 VMK DLR Dis Meet!

Tried to change the Bill Hill Show but everyone wants to go to the 11:15 AM show. I will try and get to DCA and Monsters around 10AM and see if anyone is there. Will need to leave before 10:30.

Maybe some of us can meet up later in the day?

We went to check to see if they still had doors on Sunday. You have to ask the cast memeber now for them but they went and got some for us. I suspect because it was raning and cold they were not handing them out to everyone as they were before. Anyway there is hope that they will have them when we meet this weekend!

Just an FYI for those coming tomorrow. I was at Dland today and the park was packed all morning and afternoon. The lines were long everywhere, you needed a fast pass to buy a Turkey leg...hahaha!

Ok, so what time is everyone meeting? I'm going with my family to take in a few rides and maybe do a quest or two. I'm GoldenEyeBoy maybe some of you are familiar from my best game room award Out of this World River Races. I have a new game room in which there have been great turnouts, and I hope to win another best game room award. It's called Yeti Race in Space (Space Suits and Gold Doors for the winners)I'm gonna open the race right now if any of you are interested!

Sorry you couldn't make it Decoy! We waited for a while after 11:00 hoping the crowds had held you up.....I hope everything was ok!?! Wow was it packed today. Lots of Cheerleading teams and large groups. And it was down right HOT in the sun. We all rode Monster's together and picked up a few (hundred) gold doors.....just kidding! The wait for Monsters was 70 minutes...yikes...but we enjoyed chatting with everybody thru the queue. It was great to meet everybody. We will have to do it again.

Never have i seen so many people in DCA as today. Well maybe yesterday as it was as nuts.

Sorry that I did not see anyone. Showed up at 10, had to leave at 10:15 to get to the Billy Hill shows.

Waiting for Kit to call me so we can try and meet up later.

It was great meeting all of you today for real. Here are a few photo highlights from the meet.

It was very crowded today. The lines for DLR and DCA actually bumped into each other.

When we got to Monsters Inc. there was this box of Gold doors just sitting there. Everyone decided that since it was my birthday I should take them as a present.

I thought it was a great present too. Thanks everyone. NOT...

I had a great time and thanks again eveyone for making this a special VMK/DIS birthday for me.
