Feb 26 2006 VMK DLR Dis Meet!

Date: Sunday, Feb 26 (it's Coasterguy's birthday that day! woot!)
Time: 10:30 am
Where: DCA at theater in front of new Boo ride
Who: Any Diser/VMKer who wants to join us!

The plan is to go on the new Monster's Inc. ride to get those GOLD DOORS that are out now! Then ride a few more rides, then to lunch. If the rumor is true about new Quests coming out, I may head over to Disneyland after that to do them, so anyone else that wants to come for that is more than welcome. Other ideas are also welcome.

I was thinking maybe towards end of February...it's a nice time of year at Disneyland...not crowded, nice weather.

Califgirl...Sundays are also good for me. Our passes are not good on Saturdays.

In general, Sundays are good days for me, also. My birthday is in February and what I've asked for it and combined with Valentine's day, is for a night or two at the Grand Californian. I'm so excited! I've never stayed there before but everyone that I've talked to who has said that it was wonderful.

Let's say, Sunday (seems to be good for everyone), Feb 19 or Feb 26. It doesn't matter to me at this point. We can even wait a little to pick the date.

Any ideas on where we should meet? I've never done a Disney meet before, so I am CLUELESS. Club Buzz has a lot of tables and chairs, but it can be very noisy. Any ideas?

If you want I can suggest several places.

1-VMK Kiosk

2-VMK Computers in Inoventions

3-The Hub

4-Town Square

5-Do we want to make it a meal meet? I have a stand lunch meet on Sundays but I could miss one as long as it's not the second or forth Sunday of the month.

6-Or we could meet at the outdoor theatre by the Monsters Ride.

judimouse, thanks for the suggestions! I hope they have the Monster's Inc Teleporter thing going by then. Maybe we could do a DIS run and rake in the teleporters! I am hopefully going to Disneyland this Sunday, so I'll see what I can find out when I am there.

Tishke...that Coast-to-Coast meet would be so cool. Just imagine a video link up in Innoventions or something (or whatever the equivalent is there at WDW). How cool would that be?

LOL, oh, you are so sweet. No, I don't really have a jet. I was just kidding. If I did, I'd come get all my DIS friends including you and your parents and we'd have a really big, fun DIS meet though.
