Countdown for Cruise is T-minus 17 days!! Whoo Hoo!! 6 more weeks of winter?? Not for us cruisers!! 1 week will be eaten up in the Caribbean!! So, Got response back from my TA on linking... anyone else up for Linking at the 2nd seating?? I also put in the dining rotation of preferably the one that starts at Animators Palate... (APLLAPL)

One day I hope to eat at a real hour - not 6 when the kiddies are so hungry they could eat a horse On our reunion cruise I'll have to book the late seating (it is never too soon to plan).
Our only plans for the cruise are NACHI COCOM in Cozumel and Dolphin Encounter and Turtle Farm in Grand Cayman. Other than that, I plan on sitting on enjoying the warm weather!!! I can't wait to get out of New England - too cold and not enough snow Two weeks and three days until we get on a plane to FLA.

No excursions for us as of right now. I have been to all the ports and just want to get off the ship to take a walk and then get back on and enjoy the atmosphere being quiet. Hang out by the pool and RELAX!

Sounds cool! I'm doing the Dolphin swim at Dolphinaris in Cozumel and the Island Tour in Grand Cayman.

My last day of work before vacation is two weeks from today!

We're doing the bus tours on both islands. We like to get an overview of places, and then we can decide if we'd like to go back for a vacation. We will definitely go back to St. Maarten, and we're thinking about a long weekend at Atlantis in Nassau. We visited both places on our various cruises.

We're not planning to do anything on Castaway Cay. If I feel like it when we get there, I may do a bit of snorkeling. Jim isn't much of a swimmer, and he doesn't really like snorkeling, but he usually does it with me anyway. We also plan on walking a lot while we're there. We like to go to Serenity Bay and find some chairs under the trees, but we've never walked down to the end of the bike path from there. This may be the year that we try that!

We are doing the same tour on Grand Cayman! Eco park and snorkel for us in Cozumel.

I haven't mentioned the turtle part to Jim. He's not thrilled with touching animals like that. Our DS was always the one who "volunteered" his father to touch the snakes, rabbits, insects, turtles, you name it!

Jim did feed the birds at Ardastra Gardens in Nassau, though. That was a lot of fun!

17 days.... 11 or 12 working days depending if you get Presidents day off. Kids get the Friday before off too.

Is it uncommon to care less and less about your work getting done while a board the closer you get to embarkation?

Went and got passports out of the safety deposit box today over lunch and really had difficulty refocusing this afternoon. Hence the 3:23pm post.

I love games! Card, board, mind...they are all good for me I don't know Skippo but I do know Skipbo, Uno, and Apples to Apples. I'm also getting better at Mah Jongg and Scrabble. I could sit around all day and play games. Gotta go listen to Lego Rock Band.

I haven't played in YEARS (maybe 25 years?) but I used to be a bit of a shark myself! Also good at Uno, and I saw someone mention Scrabble. I might be willing to get into a game!

I only have 9 more days of work. Working for the government gives you not much money but lots of days off!

We just finally got Jim's tux ordered, now all I have to do is decide what I'll wear for formal and semi-formal nights. He'll wear the tux for both, and maybe to Palo, too. He actually likes getting dressed up, but that may be because he doesn't dress up for work.

Now I'm going to get into my jammies and curl up with my knitting to watch some TV.
