Feb 16th-22nd

Hi all. It looks like my husband and I will have to change our plans for vacation. The only available week we can possibly go is Feb 16-22. How bad is this week at Disney crowd-wise? Is It completely unbearable, like summer, or just more crowded that the slow season. I need brutal honesty here people. If I could avoid it, I would. But I can't so I am now just trying to prepare myself for the worst.

we went school break in Feb in 2000
and thought the crowds were very managable

however it was or first trip ever to disney and really had nothing to compare it to

we went in march last time and really didn't notice any differnce crowd wise between the two stays

i went at this time last year, i thought it was great. I read up on the "peak" days for each park (for example, we avoided MK on Saturday and on president's day itself) but I didn't find the crowds to be that bad. The benefit of the long weekend is that the parks usually open later. Use Fastpass as efficiently as possible, by doing this we managed to do rides several times and avoid waits in line. I believe I went on Buzz Lightyear about 5 times! I did think it was hot, but then again I've never been in summer. I was in shorts and a tank top all day long.

Have a great trip - don't worry too much about crowds... people watching can be fun after all
